From e597c2984c64609c6e1e1ac803f00f7550705860 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Anil S Keshavamurthy Date: Mon, 9 Jan 2006 20:52:45 -0800 Subject: [PATCH] kprobes: arch_remove_kprobe Currently arch_remove_kprobes() is only implemented/required for x86_64 and powerpc. All other architecture like IA64, i386 and sparc64 implementes a dummy function which is being called from arch independent kprobes.c file. This patch removes the dummy functions and replaces it with #define arch_remove_kprobe(p, s) do { } while(0) Signed-off-by: Anil S Keshavamurthy Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds --- kernel/kprobes.c | 4 +--- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 3 deletions(-) (limited to 'kernel/kprobes.c') diff --git a/kernel/kprobes.c b/kernel/kprobes.c index f1c0e61..19c42cb 100644 --- a/kernel/kprobes.c +++ b/kernel/kprobes.c @@ -532,9 +532,7 @@ valid_p: list_del_rcu(&p->list); kfree(old_p); } - down(&kprobe_mutex); - arch_remove_kprobe(p); - up(&kprobe_mutex); + arch_remove_kprobe(p, &kprobe_mutex); } } -- cgit v1.1
