From 308c09f17da4adc53935115dbeb5bce4f067d8f9 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Laura Abbott Date: Fri, 8 Aug 2014 14:23:25 -0700 Subject: lib/scatterlist: make ARCH_HAS_SG_CHAIN an actual Kconfig Rather than have architectures #define ARCH_HAS_SG_CHAIN in an architecture specific scatterlist.h, make it a proper Kconfig option and use that instead. At same time, remove the header files are are now mostly useless and just include asm-generic/scatterlist.h. Relocation code has been inspired by module relocation code and purgatory relocation code in kexec-tools. Also compute the checksums of loaded kexec segments and store them in purgatory. Arch independent code provides this functionality so that arch dependent bootloaders can make use of it. Helper functions are provided to get/set symbol values in purgatory which are used by bootloaders later to set things like stack and entry point of second kernel etc. Signed-off-by: Vivek Goyal Cc: Borislav Petkov Cc: Michael Kerrisk Cc: Yinghai Lu Cc: Eric Biederman Cc: H.
