* [NET]: use __read_mostly on kmem_cache_t , DEFINE_SNMP_STAT pointersEric Dumazet2005-08-291-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch puts mostly read only data in the right section (read_mostly), to help sharing of these data between CPUS without memory ping pongs. On one of my production machine, tcp_statistics was sitting in a heavily modified cache line, so *every* SNMP update had to force a reload. * [NETLINK]: Correctly set NLM_F_MULTI without checking the pidJamal Hadi Salim2005-06-181-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch rectifies some rtnetlink message builders that derive the flags from the pid. It is now explicit like the other cases which get it right. Also fixes half a dozen dumpers which did not set NLM_F_MULTI at all. Signed-off-by: Jamal Hadi Salim <hadi@cyberus.ca> Signed-off-by: Thomas Graf <tgraf@suug.ch> Signed-off-by: David S. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
