The change was adding v9fs_statfs pointer to v9fs_super_ops_dotl instead of v9fs_super_ops. statfs - get file system statistics size[4] Tstatfs tag[2] fid[4] size[4] Rstatfs tag[2] type[4] bsize[4] blocks[8] bfree[8] bavail[8] files[8] ffree[8] fsid[8] namelen[4] The statfs message is used to request file system information returned by the statfs(2) system call, which is used by df(1) to report file system and disk space usage. Correctly identify such monitors, and use the alternative formula when generating modes for them. Note that we only do this for "standard" timing descriptors (tuples of hsize in characters / aspect ratio / vertical refresh). Range-based mode lists still only refer to the primary GTF curve. It would be possible to do better for the latter case, but monitors are required to support the primary curve over the entire advertised range, so all it would win you is a lower pixel clock and therefore possibly better image quality on analog links. To improve performance this allocator use a pool of uc,wc pages. Pools are protected with spinlocks to allow multiple threads to allocate pages simultanously. Expensive operations are done outside of spinlock to maximize concurrency. Pools are linked lists of pages that were recently freed. mm shrink callback allows kernel to claim back pages when they are required for something else. Fixes: * set_pages_array_wb handles highmem pages so we don't have to remove them from pool. * Add count parameter to ttm_put_pages to avoid looping in free code. * Change looping from _safe to normal in pool fill error path. * Initialize sum variable and make the loop prettier in get_num_unused_pages. * Moved pages_freed reseting inside the loop in ttm_page_pool_free. * Add warning comment about spinlock context in ttm_page_pool_free. This patch introduces the dbg_kdb_mode variable controls where the user level I/O is routed. It will be routed to the gdbstub (kgdb) or to the kdb front end which is a simple shell available over the kgdboc connection. You can switch back and forth between kdb or the gdb stub mode of operation dynamically. From gdb stub mode you can blindly type "$3#33", or from the kdb mode you can enter "kgdb" to switch to the gdb stub. The logic in the debug core depends on kdb to look for the typical gdb connection sequences and return immediately with KGDB_PASS_EVENT if a gdb serial command sequence is detected. That should allow a reasonably seamless transition between kdb -> gdb without leaving the kernel exception state. The two gdb serial queries that kdb is responsible for detecting are the "?" and "qSupported" packets. Because the change set was large, it was split. The next patch in the series includes the instrumentation into the core kernel which are mainly helper functions for kdb. This work is directly derived from kdb v4.4 found at: ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/kdb/download/v4.4/ The kdb internals have been re-organized to make them mostly platform independent and to connect everything to the debug core which is used by gdbstub (which has long been known as kgdb). The original version of kdb was 58,000 lines worth of changes to support x86. From that implementation only the kdb shell, and basic commands for memory access, runcontrol, lsmod, and dmesg where carried forward. This is a generic implementation which aims to cover all the current architectures using the kgdb core: ppc, arm, x86, mips, sparc, sh and blackfin. More archictectures can be added by implementing the architecture specific kgdb functions.
