* [POWERPC] Fix undefined reference to device_power_up/resumeOlaf Hering2007-08-251-1/+1

* [POWERPC] pmu_sys_suspended is only defined for PPC32Stephen Rothwell2007-05-101-1/+1
| | | | | | | thus we get a link error on ppc64 with CONFIG_PM=y. This fixes it. Signed-off-by: Stephen Rothwell <sfr@canb.auug.org.au> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
* [POWERPC] via-pmu: remove LED sleep notifierJohannes Berg2007-05-081-0/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | The generic LED code now makes sure that suspended devices don't blink, so we no longer need to do it ourselves. For the suspend to disk case, however, we need to make sure that we don't blink if the PMU sysdev was suspended before the LED device. * [POWERPC] powermac: disallow pmu sleep notifiers from aborting sleepJohannes Berg2007-03-261-10/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Tracing through the code, no current PMU sleep notifier can abort sleep. Since no new PMU sleep notifiers should be added, this patch simplifies the code and removes the ability to abort sleep. * [PATCH] powermac: More powermac backlight fixesMichael Hanselmann2006-07-311-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes several problems: - The legacy backlight value might be set at interrupt time. Introduced a worker to prevent it from directly calling the backlight code. - via-pmu allows the backlight to be grabbed, in which case we need to prevent other kernel code from changing the brightness. - Don't send PMU requests in via-pmu-backlight when the machine is about to sleep or waking up. - More Kconfig fixes. * [PATCH] Rewritten backlight infrastructure for portable Apple computersMichael Hanselmann2006-06-251-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch contains a total rewrite of the backlight infrastructure for portable Apple computers. Backward compatibility is retained. A sysfs interface allows userland to control the brightness with more steps than before. Userland is allowed to upload a brightness curve for different monitors, similar to Mac OS X. * [PATCH] 1/5 powerpc: Rework PowerMac i2c part 1Benjamin Herrenschmidt2006-01-091-7/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is the first part of a rework of the PowerMac i2c code. It completely reworks the "low_i2c" layer. It is now more flexible, supports KeyWest, SMU and PMU i2c busses, and provides functions to match device nodes to i2c busses and adapters. This patch also extends & fix some bugs in the SMU driver related to i2c support and removes the clock spreading hacks from the pmac feature code rather than adapting them to the new API since they'll be replaced by the platform function code completely in patch 3/5 Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
* [PATCH] ppc32: Remove CONFIG_PMAC_PBOOKBenjamin Herrenschmidt2005-06-271-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes CONFIG_PMAC_PBOOK (PowerBook support). This is now split into CONFIG_PMAC_MEDIABAY for the actual hotswap bay that some powerbooks have, CONFIG_PM for power management related code, and just left out of any CONFIG_* option for some generally useful stuff that can be used on non-laptops as well. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
