* ARM: OMAP: USBHOST: Replace usbhs core driver APIs by Runtime pm APIsKeshava Munegowda2011-12-161-11/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The ehci and ohci drivers does not use the APIs of the usbhs core driver; the runtime pm APIs are used for clock enable/disable. Since usbhs is parent platform device of the ehci and ohci devices, the runtime apis indirectly uses the usb hs core device as input parameter to for clock functions. * drivers/usb/host/ohci-omap3.c: test the just-initialized valueJulia Lawall2011-08-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Test the just-initialized value rather than some other one. The semantic match that finds this problem is as follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/) // <smpl> @r@ identifier x,y,f!={PTR_ERR,ERR_PTR,ERR_CAST}; statement S; @@ x = f(...); ( if (\(x == NULL\|IS_ERR(x)\)) S | *if (\(y == NULL\|IS_ERR(y)\)) { ... when != x return ...; } ) // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <julia@diku.dk> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
* usb: host: omap: ehci and ohci simplificationKeshava Munegowda2011-03-011-536/+48
| | | | | | | | | | The ehci and ohci drivers are simplified; Since UHH and TLL initialization, clock handling are done by common usbhs core driver, these functionalities are removed from ehci and ohci drivers. * arm: omap: usb: create common enums and structures for ehci and ohciKeshava Munegowda2011-03-011-11/+11
| | | | | | | | Create the ehci and ohci specific platform data structures. The port enum values are made common for both ehci and ohci. Signed-off-by: Keshava Munegowda <keshava_mgowda@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>
* usb: host: omap: switch to platform_get_resource_bynameFelipe Balbi2011-03-011-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | now that we have names on all memory bases, we can switch to use platform_get_resource_byname() which will make it simpler when we move to a setup where OHCI and EHCI on OMAP play well together. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>
* usb: ohci-omap3: fix trivial typoKeshava Munegowda2010-12-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | This is the ohci-omap3 driver, not ehci-omap. Correct this obvious typo. Signed-off-by: Keshava Munegowda <keshava_mgowda@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Anand Gadiyar <gadiyar@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
* USB: ohci: introduce omap3 ohci-hcd driverAnand Gadiyar2010-05-201-0/+735
Add support for the OHCI controller present in OMAP3 and newer chips. The code is mostly based off the ehci-omap.c driver. Some of it is common to both drivers and will eventually need to be factored out to platform init files. In its current state, the driver cannot co-exist with the ehci-omap driver, and this will be fixed in later versions. The second driver to be loaded will overwrite settings made by the other. For now, this driver should allow the few users of OMAP3 OHCI to get going.
