* usb: gadget: libcomposite: add epautoconf.c to libcompositeSebastian Andrzej Siewior2012-09-101-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This patch adds epautoconf.c into libcomposite and updates all gadgets. Acked-by: Michal Nazarewicz <mina86@mina86.com> Signed-off-by: Sebastian Andrzej Siewior <bigeasy@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>
* usb: gadget: libcomposite: move config.c into libcompositeSebastian Andrzej Siewior2012-09-101-1/+0
| | | | | | | | This patch moves config.c into libcomposite and updates all gadgets. Acked-by: Michal Nazarewicz <mina86@mina86.com> Signed-off-by: Sebastian Andrzej Siewior <bigeasy@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>
* usb: gadget: start with libcompositeSebastian Andrzej Siewior2012-09-101-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | This patch aims to be simple. It removes #include usbstribgs.c line from each gadget and creates libcomposite.ko which has only one member, that is usbstribgs.c. * usb: gadget: move bind() callback back to struct usb_composite_driverSebastian Andrzej Siewior2012-09-101-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | This partly reverts 07a18bd7 ("usb gadget: don't save bind callback in struct usb_composite_driver") and fixes new drivers. The section missmatch problems was solved by whitelisting structs in question via __ref. * usb: gadget: push all usb_composite_driver structs into __refdataSebastian Andrzej Siewior2012-09-101-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | As it turns out, Sam's comment was better than I initially assumed. This patch pushes as struct usb_composite_driver data structures into __refdata section to avoid a section missmatch report from modpost because the ->bind() can be marked __init. The only downside is that modpost does not check between ->bind() and other member. However, it is temporary. * usb: gadget: Add Audio Class 2.0 DriverJassi Brar2012-02-151-3/+17
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is a flexible USB Audio Class 2.0 compliant gadget driver that implements a simple topology with a virtual sound card exposed at the function side. The driver doesn't expect any real audio codec to be present on the function - the audio streams are simply sinked to and sourced from a virtual ALSA sound card created. The user-space application may choose to do whatever it wants with the data received from the USB Host and choose to provide whatever it wants as audio data to the USB Host. Capture(USB-Out) and Playback(USB-In) can be run at independent configurations specified via module parameters while loading the driver. Make this new version as the default selection by a new Kconfig choice. * usb: gadget: audio: Move string IDs to audio.cJassi Brar2012-02-151-0/+23
| | | | | | | | | Move manufacturer and product string ids into audio.c so as to be reusable by the new uac2 version of gadget driver. Signed-off-by: Yadi Brar <yadi.brar01@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Jassi Brar <jaswinder.singh@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>
* usb: gadget: Rename audio function to uac1Jassi Brar2012-02-151-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | The extant USB-Audio function driver complies to UAC_1 spec. So name the files accordingly, paving way for inclusion of a new UAC_2 specified driver. * usb: gadget: add max_speed to usb_composite_driverTatyana Brokhman2011-07-011-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This field is used by the Gadget drivers to specify the maximum speed they support, meaning: the maximum speed they can provide descriptors for. The driver speed will be set in consideration of this value. * usb gadget: don't save bind callback in struct usb_configurationUwe Kleine-König2010-10-221-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The bind function is most of the time only called at init time so there is no need to save a pointer to it in the configuration structure. This fixes many section mismatches reported by modpost. * USB: Revert "USB: gadget: section mismatch warning fixed"Michal Nazarewicz2010-10-221-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This reverts a commit which proposed an invalid solution for a section mismatch. Next 3 commits will fix it correctly. * USB: gadget: section mismatch warning fixedMichal Nazarewicz2010-08-101-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | In may gadgets bind and bind like functions were in a init section as they were only run during initialisation. However, being callback functions they were referenced from structures in “normal” sections. Changing the tag from “__init” to “__ref” fixes the warnings. * USB audio gadget: handle endpoint control requests at the function levelLaurent Pinchart2009-12-111-115/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | Now that control requests targeted at an endpoint can be handled at the function level, move the UAC-specific control request handling code from the audio gadget driver to the audio function driver. * USB audio gadget: Prefix all macro definitions with UAC_ in linux/usb/audio.hLaurent Pinchart2009-09-231-12/+12
| | | | | | | | | | linux/usb/audio.h is a public header file that includes definitions exported to userspace. To avoid namespace clashes, prefix all macro definitions with UAC_. Existing macros and structures prefixed with USB_AC_ and USB_AS_ are renamed for consistency. * USB: gadget: audio: provide correct device idGreg Kroah-Hartman2009-07-121-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | The audio gadget driver should use a "Linux" device id, instead of relying on NetChip's vendor id. So provide one out of our reserved namespace.
