* staging: hv: remove ASSERT()s and return -EINVAL in RingBuffer.cBill Pemberton2010-05-111-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | return -EINVAL instead of calling ASSERT() for these conditionals. Signed-off-by: Bill Pemberton <wfp5p@virginia.edu> Cc: Hank Janssen <hjanssen@microsoft.com> Cc: Haiyang Zhang <haiyangz@microsoft.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
* staging: hv: check return value of RingBufferInit()Bill Pemberton2010-05-111-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | RingBufferInit() would always return sucess and instead relied on an ASSERT() to test for an error condition. Remove the ASSERT() and return -EINVAL instead. The return value of RingBufferInit() was also never checked, so check it. * Staging: hv: fix various coding style issues in RingBuffer.cC. Bartlett2010-03-031-67/+86
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is a patch to the RingBuffer.c file that corrects various coding style warnings and errors found by checkpatch.pl [ The real solution here is to get rid of this file entirely, and use the kernel's internal ring buffer api, but until then, make these changes so as to make checkpatch.pl happy, and keep others from continuously sending this type of patch. - gkh] Signed-off-by: Craig Bartlett <c-bartlett@hotmail.co.uk> Cc: Bill Pemberton <wfp5p@virginia.edu> Cc: Nicolas Palix <npalix@diku.dk> Cc: Hank Janssen <hjanssen@microsoft.com> Cc: Haiyang Zhang <haiyangz@microsoft.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>

* Staging: hv: remove Sources.cGreg Kroah-Hartman2009-09-151-1/+2
| | | | | | | | It's a .c file including other .c files, ick. Remove that mess now that the header files are unwound. Cc: Hank Janssen <hjanssen@microsoft.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>

* Staging: hv: make RingInfo->RingLock a real spinlockGreg Kroah-Hartman2009-09-151-11/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Don't use the wrapper functions for this lock, make it a real lock so that we know what is going on. I don't think we really want to be doing a irqsave for this code, but I left it alone to preserve the original codepath. It should be reviewed later. * Staging: hv: make the Hyper-V virtual bus code buildGreg Kroah-Hartman2009-09-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The #define KERNEL_2_6_27 needs to be set, and I adjusted the include directories a bit to get things to build properly. I also fixed up the direct access of bus_id, as that field is now gone. The hv_vmbus code should now build properly, with no errors.
