* spi: jcore: disable clock when registering spi conroller failedTakuo Koguchi2017-12-131-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | When probe function fails in registering the spi controller, the clock should remain disabled. Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org). Signed-off-by: Takuo Koguchi <takuo.koguchi.sw@hitachi.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* spi: jcore: Fix module autoload for OF registrationJavier Martinez Canillas2016-11-231-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If the driver is built as a module, autoload won't work because the module alias information is not filled. So user-space can't match the registered device with the corresponding module. Export the module alias information using the MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() macro. Before this patch: $ modinfo drivers/spi/spi-jcore.ko | grep alias alias: platform:jcore_spi After this patch: $ modinfo drivers/spi/spi-jcore.ko | grep alias alias: platform:jcore_spi alias: of:N*T*Cjcore,spi2C* alias: of:N*T*Cjcore,spi2 Signed-off-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@osg.samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* spi: jcore: remove unnecessary platform_set_drvdata()Wei Yongjun2016-08-091-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | The driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or on probe failure. Thus, it is not needed to manually clear the device driver data to NULL. Signed-off-by: Wei Yongjun <weiyj.lk@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* spi: add driver for J-Core SPI controllerRich Felker2016-08-081-0/+232
The J-Core "spi2" device is a PIO-based SPI master controller. It differs from "bitbang" devices in that that it's clocked in hardware rather than via soft clock modulation over gpio, and performs byte-at-a-time transfers between the cpu and SPI controller. This driver will be extended to support future versions of the J-Core SPI controller with DMA transfers when they become available.
