* sh: Add SH7263 CPU support.Paul Mundt2008-01-281-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | This adds support for the SH7263 (SH-2A) CPU. This particular CPU is a superset of SH7203, adding some additional peripheral blocks and hooking up additional (reserved on SH7203) vectors in the INTC block. No visibly nasty surprises, yet.. * sh: Remove SCI_NPORTS from sh-sci.hNobuhiro Iwamatsu2007-11-071-1/+0
| | | | | | | | When SH7710 and SH7712 are used, SCI_NPORTS redefined. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Kill off the remaining ST40 cruft.Paul Mundt2007-11-071-17/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The ST40 stuff in-tree hasn't built for some time, and hasn't been updated for over 3 years. ST maintains their own out-of-tree changes and rebases occasionally, and that's ultimately where all of the ST40 users go anyways. In order for the ST40 code to be brought up to date most of the stuff removed in this changeset would have to be rewritten anyways, so there's very little benefit in keeping the remnants around either. * sh: remove support for sh7300 and solution engine 7300Magnus Damm2007-07-261-22/+8
| | | | | | | | | This patch removes old dead code: - kill off sh7300 cpu support - get rid of broken solution engine 7300 board support Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: sh-sci - fix SH7708 supportMagnus Damm2007-07-261-17/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch makes sure the sci serial port driver compiles for sh7708. The approach taken is to treat the sh7708 as a subset of sh7706, sh7707, sh7709. sh7708 is very similar to sh7706, sh7707, sh7709, but only equipped with a single sci port. The platform data in setup-sh770x.c already limits the number of serial ports for sh7708 to a single one, so the non-existing scif ports pointed out in sh-sci.h will remain unused in case of sh7708. * sh: remove support for sh73180 and solution engine 73180Magnus Damm2007-07-251-11/+0
| | | | | | | | | This patch removes old dead code: - kill off sh73180 cpu support - get rid of broken solution engine 73180 board support Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Preliminary support for the SH-X3 CPU.Paul Mundt2007-06-201-2/+23

* sh: Fix SH-4 CPU selects.Paul Mundt2007-06-081-6/+19
| | | | | | | | | Now that select no longer works for selecting the "closest" CPU, we have to explicitly reference the precise sub-type in the few places where it actually matters (presently only setup code and some legacy sh-sci cruft). Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: MS7712SE01 board support.Nobuhiro Iwamatsu2007-05-071-11/+32
| | | | | | | Support the SH7712 (SH3-DSP) Solution Engine reference board. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Add SH7785 Highlander board support (R7785RP).Paul Mundt2007-05-071-3/+37
| | | | | | | | | | | This adds preliminary support for the SH7785-based Highlander board. Some of the Highlander support code is reordered so that most of it can be reused directly. This also plugs in missing SH7785 checks in the places that need it, as this is the first board to support the CPU. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: SH-MobileR SH7722 CPU support.Paul Mundt2006-12-121-0/+14

* sh: More flexible + SH7780 earlyprintk SCIF support.Paul Mundt2006-12-061-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This makes the early printk support somewhat more flexible, moving the port definition to a config option, and making the port initialization configurable for sh-ipl+g users. At the same time, this allows us to trivially wire up the SH7780 SCIF0, so that's thrown in too more or less for free. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Add support for SH7206 and SH7619 CPU subtypes.Yoshinori Sato2006-12-061-0/+36
| | | | | | | | This implements initial support for the SH7206 (SH-2A) and SH7619 (SH-2) MMU-less CPUs. Signed-off-by: Yoshinori Sato <ysato@users.sourceforge.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* serial: Rework sh-sci for driver model.Paul Mundt2006-09-271-44/+46
| | | | | | | | | sh-sci was turning in to an unmaintainable mess, especially with regards to the port list. This cleans it up quite a bit, and switches over to a platform device model where subtypes will register their port list individually in their setup code. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
