* pinctrl: max77620: Use common error handling code in max77620_pinconf_set()Markus Elfring2017-11-081-10/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | * Add a jump target so that a specific error message is stored only once at the end of this function implementation. * Replace two calls of the function "dev_err" by goto statements. * Adjust two condition checks. This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software. Signed-off-by: Markus Elfring <elfring@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* pinctrl: Widen the generic pinconf argument from 16 to 24 bitsMika Westerberg2017-01-261-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The current pinconf packed format allows only 16-bit argument limiting the maximum value 65535. For most types this is enough. However, debounce time can be in range of hundreths of milliseconds in case of mechanical switches so we cannot represent the worst case using the current format. In order to support larger values change the packed format so that the lower 8 bits are used as type which leaves 24 bits for the argument. This allows representing values up to 16777215 and debounce times up to 16 seconds. We also convert the existing users to use 32-bit integer when extracting argument from the packed configuration value. * pinctrl: max77620: Remove unused structure definitionJon Hunter2016-06-151-5/+0
| | | | | | | | The strucuture 'max77620_cfg_param' is defined but never used by the max77620 driver. Remove this structure definition. Signed-off-by: Jon Hunter <jonathanh@nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* pinctrl: max77620: add pincontrol driver for MAX77620/MAX20024Laxman Dewangan2016-05-301-0/+678
MAXIM Semiconductor's PMIC, MAX77620/MAX20024 has 8 GPIO pins which also act as the special function in alternate mode. Also there is configuration like push-pull, open drain, FPS timing etc for these pins. Add pin control driver to configure these parameters through pin control APIs.
