* phy: exynos-dp-video: Kill exynos_dp_video_phy_pwr_isol functionAxel Lin2015-03-121-20/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | If IS_ERR(state->regs) the .probe fails. So IS_ERR(state->regs) test in exynos_dp_video_phy_pwr_isol() is not necessary. exynos_dp_video_phy_pwr_isol() simply does a regmap_update_bits() call now, just call regmap_update_bits() instead and return proper return value. * phy: remove .owner field for drivers using module_platform_driverPeter Griffin2014-09-241-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | This patch removes the superflous .owner field for drivers which use the module_platform_driver or platform_driver_register api, as this is overriden in __platform_driver_register. * phy: exynos-dp-video: Use syscon support to control pmu registerVivek Gautam2014-09-241-25/+54
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently the DP_PHY_ENABLE register is mapped in the driver, and accessed to control power to the PHY. With mfd-syscon and regmap interface available at our disposal, it's wise to use that instead of using a 'reg' property for the controller and allocating a memory resource for that. To facilitate this, we have added another compatible string for Exynso5420 SoC to acquire driver data which contains different DP-PHY-CONTROL register offset. * phy: core: Let node ptr of PHY point to PHY and not of PHY providerKishon Vijay Abraham I2014-07-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | In case of multi-phy PHY providers, each PHY should be modeled as a sub node of the PHY provider. Then each PHY will have a different node pointer (node pointer of sub node) than that of PHY provider. Added this provision in the PHY core. Also fixed all drivers to use the updated API. * phy: let phy_provider_register be the last step in registering PHYKishon Vijay Abraham I2014-02-181-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | Registering phy_provider before creating the PHY can result in PHY callbacks being invoked which will lead to aborts. In order to avoid this invoke phy_provider_register after phy_create and phy_set_drvdata.
