* wireless/wl12xx/wl1251: move TI WLAN modules to a common ti subdirectoryLuciano Coelho2012-04-121-355/+0
| | | | | | | | | Move wl12xx and wl1251 modules into a new drivers/net/wireless/ti directory. Add a TI WLAN Kconfig option and Makefile to support this change. Signed-off-by: Luciano Coelho <coelho@ti.com> Cc: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
* wireless: Remove redundant spi driver bus initializationLars-Peter Clausen2011-11-281-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In ancient times it was necessary to manually initialize the bus field of an spi_driver to spi_bus_type. These days this is done in spi_driver_register(), so we can drop the manual assignment. The patch was generated using the following coccinelle semantic patch: // <smpl> @@ identifier _driver; @@ struct spi_driver _driver = { .driver = { - .bus = &spi_bus_type, }, }; // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Cc: Dan Williams <dcbw@redhat.com> Cc: "John W. * wl1251: add power callback to wl1251_if_operationsGrazvydas Ignotas2010-11-151-0/+9
| | | | | | | | | | Call interface specific power callback before calling board specific one. Also allow that callback to fail. This is how it's done for wl1271 and will be used for runtime_pm support. Signed-off-by: Grazvydas Ignotas <notasas@gmail.com> Acked-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@adurom.com> Signed-off-by: John W. * wl1251: move to it's own directoryKalle Valo2010-10-111-0/+346
wl1271 driver is under heavy development but on the other hand the older wl1251 driver is currently considered more as a legacy driver. To make it easier to develop wl1271 features move wl1251 to it's own directory, drivers/net/wireless/wl1251. There are no functional changes, only moving of files. One regression is that Kconfig won't be updated automatically and user needs to enable wl1251 manually with an older config file. Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@adurom.com> Signed-off-by: John W.
