* rtlwifi: rtl818x: Move drivers into new realtek directoryLarry Finger2015-10-141-732/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Now that a new mac80211-based driver for Realtek devices has been submitted, it is time to reorganize the directories. Rather than having directories rtlwifi and rtl818x be in drivers/net/wireless/, they will now be in drivers/net/wireless/realtek/. This change simplifies the directory structure, but does not result in any configuration changes that are visable to the user. * rtlwifi: rtl8192ce: Fix kernel crashes due to missing callback entryLarry Finger2014-12-011-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | In the major update of the rtlwifi-family of drivers, one of the callback entries was missed, which leads to memory corruption. Unfortunately, this corruption never caused a kernel oops, but showed up in other parts of the system. This patch is one of three needed to fix the kernel regression reported at https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88951. | | | | | | | | | | | rtl8188eu: Modify for new API The addition of a driver for the RTL8821AE requires a new API for the fill_tx_desc() and set_desc() callback routines. This commit makes the appropriate modifications in all the other drivers. Signed-off-by: Larry Finger <Larry.Finger@lwfinger.net> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
* mac80211: move TX station pointer and restructure TXThomas Huehn2012-07-311-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the control.sta pointer from ieee80211_tx_info to free up sufficient space in the TX skb control buffer for the upcoming Transmit Power Control (TPC). Instead, the pointer is now on the stack in a new control struct that is passed as a function parameter to the drivers' tx method. * wireless: Remove unnecessary ; from while (0) macrosJoe Perches2012-04-111-6/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Semicolons are not necessary after macros that end in while (0). Remove them. Simplify the macros with tests of do { if (foo>size) memset1; else memset2;} while (0); to a single line memset(,,min_t(size_t, foo, size)) Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Acked-by: Arend van Spriel <arend@broadcom.com> Acked-by: Larry Finger <Larry.Finger@lwfinger.net> Acked-by: Bing Zhao <bzhao@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: John W. * rtlwifi: Combine instances of RTL_HAL_IS_CCK_RATE macros.Larry Finger2011-09-201-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Three drivers, rtl8192ce, rtl8192cu and rtl8192de, use the same macro to check if a particular rate is in the CCK set. This common code is relocated to a common header file. A distinct macro used by rtl8192se with the same name is renamed. Signed-off-by: Larry Finger <Larry.Finger@lwfinger.net> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
