* Remove GENERIC_HARDIRQ config optionMartin Schwidefsky2013-09-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | After the last architecture switched to generic hard irqs the config options HAVE_GENERIC_HARDIRQS & GENERIC_HARDIRQS and the related code for !CONFIG_GENERIC_HARDIRQS can be removed. Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
* drivers/net/wireless/p54: remove depends on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTALKees Cook2013-01-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | The CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL config item has not carried much meaning for a while now and is almost always enabled by default. As agreed during the Linux kernel summit, remove it from any "depends on" lines in Kconfigs. Acked-by: Christian Lamparter <chunkeey@googlemail.com> Acked-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com> Acked-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net> Signed-off-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* p54spi: Update kconfig help textMichael Buesch2011-03-071-3/+2
| | | | | | | | This updates the p54spi Kconfig help text. The driver works well on n8x0, so remove the words "experimental" and "untested". Signed-off-by: Michael Buesch <mb@bu3sch.de> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>

* | p54spi: Kconfig option for config blobChristian Lamparter2010-08-251-0/+17
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds an Kconfig option, which allows the user to select, whenever he/she wants to include a 4k blob for generic calibration and interface values into the driver, or cut the module size by about 15 to 20%. * | p54: improve eeprom parserChristian Lamparter2010-08-241-0/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Like other vendors, p54* devices have a checksum for the EEPROM descriptor data. This patch enhances the parser code to generate and verify the data fields, before initializing the radio-chip on the card. Note: If you have to bootstrap an alternative EEPROM image for your device and you don't know how to generate a valid crc ccitt checksum, you should take a look at: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/chr/p54tools.git The "checksum" utility loads a binary p54 EEPROM blob (use the -f switch, to skip the check) and applies the correct crc automatically. * wireless: remove WLAN_80211 and WLAN_PRE80211 from KconfigJohn W. Linville2009-10-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | With the WLAN_PRE80211 drivers moved to drivers/staging, this distinction becomes unnecessary. Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
* p54: Kconfig maintenanceChristian Lamparter2009-03-271-28/+4
| | | | | | | This patch updates p54's Kconfig entry and removes the out-dated device list. Signed-off-by: Christian Lamparter <chunkeey@web.de> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
* p54: fix SoftLED compile dependenciesChristian Lamparter2009-03-271-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | This patch fixes a compile problem when the MAC80211_LEDS triggers are enabled but not LED class itself. (which is sort of pointless, but anyway...) Signed-off-by: Christian Lamparter <chunkeey@web.de> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
