| * mwifiex: initialize Tx/Rx info of a packet correctlyAmitkumar Karwar2014-07-031-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are few places at the begining of Tx/Rx paths where tx_info/rx_info is not correctly initialized. This patch takes care of it. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This reverts commit a82fc3b4a2bceb7c6587249cb690342eb5065979. Thomas corrected me on that I misunderstood Johannes' comment for net_timedelta() and the ktime_get_real() usage inside __net_timestamp(). * mwifiex: add AMSDU inside AMPDU supportAmitkumar Karwar2014-03-141-21/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently AMPDU aggregation is preferred over AMSDU. AMSDU aggregation is performed only if AMPDU streams in firmware are full. This patch adds simultaneous AMSDU and AMPDU aggregation support. This mechanism helps to improve throughput. AMSDU is enabled only for 8897 chipsets which supports 4K transmit buffer. User can disable AMSDU using 'disable_tx_amsdu' module parameter. Signed-off-by: Amitkumar Karwar <akarwar@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Bing Zhao <bzhao@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: John W. * mwifiex: update statistics for bridged packets on AP interfaceUjjal Roy2013-12-091-1/+14

* mwifiex: fix rx_pending count imbalanceUjjal Roy2013-12-091-12/+3
| | | | | | | | | | RX packets are handled in different paths. Not all paths have decrement of rx_pending counter. This patch fixes the counter imbalance. * mwifiex: fix an issue with Appletalk devicesAmitkumar Karwar2013-12-091-2/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | SNAP/LLC header in the AARP packet is being stripped off while preparing an EthernetII header. Annex M, Table M.3 in 802.11 spec says that some header (ex. AppleTalk AARP(2)) should pass through untouched. This patch modifies the check to exclude/include EthernetII header translation for special cases. * mwifiex: fix wrong eth_hdr usage for bridged packets in AP modeUjjal Roy2013-11-111-3/+26
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The eth_hdr is never defined in this driver but it gets compiled without any warning/error because kernel has defined eth_hdr. Fix it by defining our own p_ethhdr and use it instead of eth_hdr. * mwifiex: delete AP TX queues when bridged packets reach thresholdAvinash Patil2013-07-241-1/+65
| | | | | | | | | | Delete packets from TX queues for this mwifiex_private structure when bridged packet count reaches maximum threshold. Bridged packets from each RA List are deleted till they fall to low threshold of 128. * mwifiex: remove stop_net_dev_queue operation in AP forwardingHuawei Yang2013-07-241-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Under uAP mode mwifiex may stop all net tx queues on forwarding packets. This may stop some tx queues and they never have chance to be waked up. There is also no need to check tx_pending and stop queues here. Because local host has such kind of check when transmitting packets and it's not proper to have forwarding affect local transmitting. * mwifiex: improve uAP RX handlingAvinash Patil2012-08-061-0/+205
1. Separate file for uAP RX handling. 2. If received packet is broadcast/multicast, send it to kernel as well as requeue it back to uAP TX queue. 3. If received packet is for associated STA (intra-BSS), requeue it back to uAP TX queue. 4. In all other cases (packets for AP or inter-BSS packets), pass packet to kernel to handle it accordingly.
