* net: phy: spi_ks8995: remove sysfs bin file by registered attributeVladimir Zapolskiy2014-11-041-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | When a sysfs binary file is asked to be removed, it is found by attribute name, so strictly speaking this change is not a fix, but just in case when attribute name is changed in the driver or sysfs internals are changed, it might be better to remove the previously created file using right the same binary attribute. * net: phy: spi_ks8995: Introduce the use of devm_kzallocHimangi Saraogi2014-08-041-18/+8
| | | | | | | | | This patch introduces the use of devm_kzalloc and does away with the kfrees in the probe and remove functions. Also, a label is removed. * net: Micrel KSZ8864RMN 4-port managed switch supportPhilipp Zabel2014-04-031-12/+40
| | | | | | | | This patch adds support for the Micrel KSZ8864RMN switch to the spi_ks8995 driver. The KSZ8864RMN switch has a wider 256-byte register space. Signed-off-by: Philipp Zabel <p.zabel@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* drivers/net: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker2014-01-161-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. This covers everything under drivers/net except for wireless, which has been submitted separately. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: David S. * net: phy: spi_ks8995: remove unnecessary spi_set_drvdata()Jingoo Han2013-12-101-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | The driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or on probe failure. Thus, it is not needed to manually clear the device driver data to NULL. Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* net/phy: Use module_spi_driver in spi_ks8995.cSachin Kamat2013-05-271-13/+1

* net: phy: spi_ks8995: use spi_get_drvdata() and spi_set_drvdata()Jingoo Han2013-04-071-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | Use the wrapper functions for getting and setting the driver data using spi_device instead of using dev_{get|set}_drvdata with &spi->dev, so we can directly pass a struct spi_device. * net: Remove redundant spi driver bus initializationLars-Peter Clausen2012-04-131-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In ancient times it was necessary to manually initialize the bus field of an spi_driver to spi_bus_type. These days this is done in spi_driver_register() so we can drop the manual assignment. The patch was generated using the following coccinelle semantic patch: // <smpl> @@ identifier _driver; @@ struct spi_driver _driver = { .driver = { - .bus = &spi_bus_type, }, }; // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Cc: "David S.
