* mlx4: Move the Mellanox driverJeff Kirsher2011-08-111-156/+0
| | | | | | | | Moves the Mellanox driver into drivers/net/ethernet/mellanox/ and make the necessary Kconfig and Makefile changes. CC: Roland Dreier <roland@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
* mlx4: Sensing link type at device initializationYevgeny Petrilin2011-04-071-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | When bringing the port up, performing a SENSE_PORT command To try and check to which physical link type (IB or Ethernet) the physical port is connected. In case there is no valid link partner, the port will come up as its supported default. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

* workqueue: add to_delayed_work() helper functionJean Delvare2009-04-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It is a fairly common operation to have a pointer to a work and to need a pointer to the delayed work it is contained in. In particular, all delayed works which want to rearm themselves will have to do that. So it would seem fair to offer a helper function for this operation. * mlx4_core: Add link type autosensingYevgeny Petrilin2009-03-181-0/+156
When a port's link is down (except to driver restart) and the port is configured for auto sensing, we try to sense port link type (Ethernet or InfiniBand) in order to determine how to initialize the port. If the port type needs to be changed, all mlx4 for the device interfaces are unregistered and then registered again with the new port types. Sensing is done with intervals of 3 seconds.
