* net: convert print_mac to %pMJohannes Berg2008-10-271-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | This converts pretty much everything to print_mac. There were a few things that had conflicts which I have just dropped for now, no harm done. I've built an allyesconfig with this and looked at the files that weren't built very carefully, but it's a huge patch. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net> Signed-off-by: David S. | | | | | | | This is nicer than the MAC_FMT stuff. Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* [NET]: Nuke SET_MODULE_OWNER macro.Ralf Baechle2007-10-101-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | It's been a useless no-op for long enough in 2.6 so I figured it's time to remove it. The number of people that could object because they're maintaining unified 2.4 and 2.6 drivers is probably rather small. * [PATCH] amiga: fix driver_register() return handling, remove zorro_module_init()Bjorn Helgaas2006-03-251-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the assumption that driver_register() returns the number of devices bound to the driver. In fact, it returns zero for success or a negative error value. zorro_module_init() used the device count to automatically unregister and unload drivers that found no devices. That might have worked at one time, but has been broken for some time because zorro_register_driver() returned either a negative error or a positive count (never zero). So it could only unregister on failure, when it's not needed anyway. This functionality could be resurrected in individual drivers by counting devices in their .probe() methods. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
