* net: ethernet: ibm: ehea: ehea_qmr.c: Fix for possible null pointer dereferenceRickard Strandqvist2014-05-181-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | There is otherwise a risk of a possible null pointer dereference. Was largely found by using a static code analysis program called cppcheck. Signed-off-by: Rickard Strandqvist <rickard_strandqvist@spectrumdigital.se> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* ethernet: Remove unnecessary alloc/OOM messages, alloc cleanupsJoe Perches2013-02-041-13/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | alloc failures already get standardized OOM messages and a dump_stack. Convert kzalloc's with multiplies to kcalloc. Convert kmalloc's with multiplies to kmalloc_array. Fix a few whitespace defects. Convert a constant 6 to ETH_ALEN. Use parentheses around sizeof. Convert vmalloc/memset to vzalloc. Remove now unused size variables. Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* ehea: Remove uses of virt_to_abs() and abs_to_virt()Michael Ellerman2012-09-051-7/+7
| | | | | | | | | | abs_to_virt() simply calls __va() and we'd like to get rid of it, so replace all abs_to_virt() uses with __va(). Similarly virt_to_abs() just calls __pa(). Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <michael@ellerman.id.au> Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>
* drivers/net/ethernet: Fix non-kernel-doc comments with kernel-doc start markersBen Hutchings2012-07-101-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | Convert doxygen (or similar) formatted comments to kernel-doc or unformatted comment. Delete a few that are content-free. Signed-off-by: Ben Hutchings <bhutchings@solarflare.com> Acked-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* drivers/net: fix up stale paths from driver reorgPaul Gortmaker2012-01-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | The reorganization of the driver layout in drivers/net left behind some stale paths in comments and in Kconfig help text. Bring them up to date. No actual change to any code takes place here. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com> CC: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* ehea: make some functions and variables staticThadeu Lima de Souza Cascardo2012-01-171-8/+6
| | | | | | | | | Some functions and variables in ehea are only used in their own file, so they should be static. One particular function had a very generic name, print_error_data. * ehea/ibm*: Move the IBM driversJeff Kirsher2011-08-111-0/+1031
Move the IBM drivers into drivers/net/ethernet/ibm/ and make the necessary Kconfig and Makefile changes. - Renamed ibm_new_emac to emac - Cleaned up Makefile and Kconfig options which referred to IBM_NEW_EMAC to IBM_EMAC - ibmlana driver is a National Semiconductor SONIC driver so it was not moved CC: Christoph Raisch <raisch@de.ibm.com> CC: Santiago Leon <santil@linux.vnet.ibm.com> CC: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org> CC: David Gibson <dwg@au1.ibm.com> CC: Kyle Lucke <klucke@us.ibm.com> CC: Michael Ellerman <michael@ellerman.id.au> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
