| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Add a new rdma ctl command called RDMA_GET_MIB to the cxgb3 low level driver to obtain the protocol mib from the rnic hardware. - Add new iw_cxgb3 provider method to get the MIB from the low level driver. * is_vmalloc_addr(): Check if an address is within the vmalloc boundariesChristoph Lameter2008-02-051-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Checking if an address is a vmalloc address is done in a couple of places. Define a common version in mm.h and replace the other checks. Again the include structures suck. The definition of VMALLOC_START and VMALLOC_END is not available in vmalloc.h since highmem.c cannot be included there. * cxgb3 - Expose HW memory page infoDivy Le Ray2007-10-101-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | A HW issue requires limiting the receive window size to 23 pages of internal memory. These pages can be configured to different sizes, thus the RDMA driver needs to know the page size to enforce the upper limit. Also assign explicit enum values. * cxgb3 - Fix dev->priv usageDivy Le Ray2007-08-311-3/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | cxgb3 used netdev_priv() and dev->priv for different purposes. In 2.6.23, netdev_priv() == dev->priv, cxgb3 needs a fix. This patch is a partial backport of Dave Miller's changes in the net-2.6.24 git branch. Without this fix, cxgb3 crashes on 2.6.23. * [SK_BUFF]: Introduce skb_reset_mac_header(skb)Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo2007-04-251-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | For the common, open coded 'skb->mac.raw = skb->data' operation, so that we can later turn skb->mac.raw into a offset, reducing the size of struct sk_buff in 64bit land while possibly keeping it as a pointer on 32bit. This one touches just the most simple case, next will handle the slightly more "complex" cases. Signed-off-by: Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo <acme@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* cxgb3 - Fix low memory conditionsDivy Le Ray2007-04-191-18/+51
| | | | | | | | | | | | Reuse the incoming skb when a clientless abort req is recieved. The release of RDMA connections HW resources might be deferred in low memory situations. Ensure that no further activity is passed up to the RDMA driver for these connections. Signed-off-by: Divy Le Ray <divy@chelsio.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Garzik <jeff@garzik.org>
* cxgb3 - missing CPL hanler and register setting.Divy Le Ray2007-04-111-12/+2

* [VLAN]: Avoid a 4-order allocation.Dan Aloni2007-03-021-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch splits the vlan_group struct into a multi-allocated struct. On x86_64, the size of the original struct is a little more than 32KB, causing a 4-order allocation, which is prune to problems caused by buddy-system external fragmentation conditions. I couldn't just use vmalloc() because vfree() cannot be called in the softirq context of the RCU callback.
