* [MTD] ECC rework broke diskonchipThomas Gleixner2006-05-231-1/+1
| | | | | | Fix the diskonchip ecc setup. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>
* Merge branch 'master' of /home/tglx/work/kernel/git/mtd-2.6/Thomas Gleixner2006-05-231-8/+8

| * [MTD] Introduce writesizeJoern Engel2006-05-221-8/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | At least two flashes exists that have the concept of a minimum write unit, similar to NAND pages, but no other NAND characteristics. Therefore, rename the minimum write unit to "writesize" for all flashes, including NAND. Signed-off-by: Joern Engel <joern@wh.fh-wedel.de>
* | [MTD] NAND modularize ECCThomas Gleixner2006-05-231-4/+6
|/ | | | | | | | First step of modularizing ECC support. - Move ECC related functionality into a seperate embedded data structure - Get rid of the hardware dependend constants to simplify new ECC models Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>
* [MTD NAND] Indent all of drivers/mtd/nand/*.c.David Woodhouse2006-05-131-204/+211
| | | | | | It was just too painful to deal with. Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>

* [MTD] DiskOnChip: Add some commentsDan Brown2005-05-231-1/+11
| | | | | | | | Add helpful comment about oobfree so I can't claim two years from now that I don't remember what I was thinking. Signed-off-by: Dan Brown <dan_brown@ieee.org> Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>

* [MTD] DiskOnChip: Prevent problems with existing filesystemsDan Brown2005-05-231-2/+2
| | | | | | | | Try not to break existing jffs2 installs, instead break oobfree into two out-of-order pieces. Signed-off-by: Dan Brown <dan_brown@ieee.org> Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
