* misc: remove drivers for CARMA hardwareIra Snyder2015-05-241-1182/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | The CARMA project has ended, and the hardware has all been moved into storage. It is unlikely to ever be used again. Remove the drivers so that there is no more maintenance burden from ongoing upstream kernel changes. Signed-off-by: Ira W. Snyder <ira.snyder@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* misc: carma: fixup return type of wait_for_completion_timeoutNicholas Mc Guire2015-03-251-4/+6
| | | | | | | | | return type of wait_for_completion_timeout is unsigned long not int. The rc variable is renamed timeout to reflect its use and the type adjusted to unsigned long. Signed-off-by: Nicholas Mc Guire <hofrat@osadl.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* misc: constify of_device_id arrayFabian Frederick2015-03-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | of_device_id is always used as const. (See driver.of_match_table and open firmware functions) Signed-off-by: Fabian Frederick <fabf@skynet.be> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

| * carma-fpga-program: drop videobuf dependencyHans Verkuil2014-11-261-17/+80
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This driver abuses videobuf helper functions. This is a bad idea because: 1) this driver is completely unrelated to media drivers 2) the videobuf API is deprecated and will be removed eventually This patch replaces the videobuf functions with the normal DMA kernel API. | * carma-fpga: move to fsl_dma_external_start()Vinod Koul2014-10-151-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | carma-fpga driver uses device control with custom FSLDMA_EXTERNAL_START command. Since we wnat to deprecate the device control, move this driver to use new fsl_dma_external_start() API Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com>

* carma: remove unnecessary DMA_INTERRUPT capabilityQiang Liu2012-08-161-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | These drivers set the DMA_INTERRUPT capability bit when requesting a DMA controller channel. This was historical, and is no longer needed. Recent changes to the drivers/dma/fsldma.c driver have removed support for this flag. This makes the carma drivers unable to find a DMA channel with the required capabilities. * misc: Add CARMA DATA-FPGA Programmer supportIra Snyder2011-05-191-0/+1141
