* V4L/DVB (13612): IR: Move common IR code to drivers/media/IRMauro Carvalho Chehab2009-12-161-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | This is the first step of creating a common code for IR that can be used by other input devices. For now, keep IR dir at drivers/media, to easy the movement of the IR files, but later patches may move it to drivers/IR or drivers/input/IR. No functional changes is done on this patch. * V4L/DVB (13532): ir-common: Add infrastructure to use a dynamic keycode tableMauro Carvalho Chehab2009-12-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | V4L drivers use an static keycode vector with 128 entries, where the scancode indexes the keycode. While this works, it limits the scancodes to have only 7 bits, not allowing for example full RC5 codes. Instead of implementing the same code on every V4L driver, provide a common infrastructure to handle the bigger tables, minimizing the changes inside each driver. * V4L/DVB (3393): Move all IR keymaps to ir-common moduleRicardo Cerqueira2006-01-231-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | - All the keymaps have the same structure, and can be shared between different chips, so it makes no sense having them scattered between the input files. This aggregates them all at ir-common module. - Added new Hauppauge remote (Hauppauge grey), contributed by J.O. Aho <trizt@iname.com> (with some small changes) Changed KEY_KPx (keypad numerals) references to KEY_x, to avoid problems when NumLock is off (suggested by Peter Missel <peter.missel@onlinehome.de>) - Some cleanups at IR code Signed-off-by: Ricardo Cerqueira <v4l@cerqueira.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@infradead.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
