| | | | | | | | | Remove all #inclusions of asm/system.h preparatory to splitting and killing it. Performed with the following command: perl -p -i -e 's!^#\s*include\s*<asm/system[.]h>.*\n!!' `grep -Irl '^#\s*include\s*<asm/system[.]h>' *` Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com>
* of: add 'of_' prefix to machine_is_compatible()Grant Likely2010-02-091-3/+3
| | | | | | | | machine is compatible is an OF-specific call. It should have the of_ prefix to protect the global namespace. Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca> Acked-by: Michal Simek <monstr@monstr.eu>

* [POWERPC] powermac: Constify & voidify get_property()Jeremy Kerr2006-07-311-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that get_property() returns a void *, there's no need to cast its return value. Also, treat the return value as const, so we can constify get_property later. powermac platform & macintosh driver changes. Built for pmac32_defconfig, g5_defconfig Signed-off-by: Jeremy Kerr <jk@ozlabs.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
* [PATCH] powerpc: Thermal control for dual core G5sBenjamin Herrenschmidt2006-02-071-20/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds a windfarm module, windfarm_pm112, for the dual core G5s (both 2 and 4 core models), keeping the machine from getting into vacuum-cleaner mode ;) For proper credits, the patch was initially written by Paul Mackerras, and slightly reworked by me to add overtemp handling among others. The patch also removes the sysfs attributes from windfarm_pm81 and windfarm_pm91 and instead adds code to the windfarm core to automagically expose attributes for sensor & controls. * [PATCH] fix more missing includesTim Schmielau2006-01-081-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Include fixes for 2.6.14-git11. Should allow to remove sched.h from module.h on i386, x86_64, arm, ia64, ppc, ppc64, and s390. Probably more to come since I haven't yet checked the other archs. * [PATCH] ppc64: Thermal control for SMU based machinesBenjamin Herrenschmidt2005-11-081-0/+479
This adds a new thermal control framework for PowerMac, along with the implementation for PowerMac8,1, PowerMac8,2 (iMac G5 rev 1 and 2), and PowerMac9,1 (latest single CPU desktop). In the future, I expect to move the older G5 thermal control to the new framework as well.
