* iio:adc:ad7887 Fix channel reported endianness from cpu to big endianJonathan Cameron2013-12-171-2/+14
| | | | | | | | | | Note this also sets the endianness to big endian whereas it would previously have defaulted to the cpu endian. Hence technically this is a bug fix on LE platforms. Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org> Acked-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Cc: stable@vger.kernel.org
* iio:ad7887: Remove redundant call to iio_sw_buffer_preenable().Lars-Peter Clausen2013-10-161-5/+0
| | | | | | | | The equivalent of iio_sw_buffer_preenable() is now done in the IIO buffer core, so there is no need to do this from the driver anymore. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
* iio:ad7887: Use iio_push_to_buffers_with_timestamp()Lars-Peter Clausen2013-09-211-8/+2
| | | | | | | Makes the code a bit shorter and less ugly. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
* iio: adc: ad7887: Use devm_* APIsSachin Kamat2013-08-031-16/+7
| | | | | | | | devm_* APIs are device managed and make code simpler. Signed-off-by: Sachin Kamat <sachin.kamat@linaro.org> Acked-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
* iio:adc:ad7887 move to info_mask_(shared_by_type/separate)Jonathan Cameron2013-03-171-4/+4
| | | | | | | The original info_mask is going away in favour of the broken out versions. Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org> Acked-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de>
* Drivers: iio: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman2013-01-031-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. * staging:iio: Add support for multiple buffersJonathan Cameron2012-11-101-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Route all buffer writes through the demux. Addition or removal of a buffer results in tear down and setup of all the buffers for a given device. Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org> Tested-by: srinivas pandruvada <srinivas.pandruvada@intel.com>
* staging:iio: Move the ad7887 driver out of stagingLars-Peter Clausen2012-11-051-0/+378
The driver does not expose any custom API to userspace and none of the standard static code checker tools report any issues, so move it out of staging. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
