list_for_each_entry_reverse(subdrv, &subdrv->list, list) {
Here, the list_for_each_entry_reverse immediately terminates because
the subdrv pointer is compared to itself as the loop end condition.
If we were to take the current subdrv pointer as the start of the
list (as we would do if list_for_each_entry_reverse() was not a macro),
we would iterate backwards over the &exynos_drm_subdrv_list anchor,
which would be even worse.
Instead, we need to use list_for_each_entry_continue_reverse()
to go back over each subdrv that was successfully opened until
the first entry.

struct exynos_drm_encoder was justing wrapping struct drm_encoder, it had
only a drm_encoder member and the internal exynos_drm_encoders ops that
was directly mapped to the drm_encoder helper funcs.
So now exynos DRM uses struct drm_encoder directly, this removes
completely the struct exynos_drm_encoder.
v2: add empty .mode_fixup() and .mode_set() to DSI and DPI to avoid null
pointer.

This functions was just hiding the encoder and connector creation in
a way that was less clean than if we get rid of it. For example,
exynos_encoder ops had .create_connector() defined only because we were
handing off the encoder and connector creation to
exynos_drm_create_enc_conn(). Without this function we can directly call
the create_connector function internally in the code, without the need of
any vtable access.
It also does some refactoring in the code like creating a bind function
for dpi devices.

This struct was just representing encoder information, it was a member of
struct exynos_drm_encoder, so any code trying to access encoder data would
have to go through the encoder struct, get the display struct and then get
the data it want.
During this patchset we also realized that the only data
exynos_drm_encoder needs to store is the drm_encoder parent and the
exynos_drm_encoder_ops.

This patch adds component framework support to resolve
the probe order issue.
Until now, exynos drm had used codes specific to exynos drm
to resolve that issue so with this patch, the specific codes
are removed.

This path removes the exynos_drm_connector code since it was just
passing hooks through display_ops. The individual device drivers are now
responsible for implementing drm_connector directly.

This creates a new display hook called create_connector. The purpose is
to allow the display driver to create its own drm_connector instead of
using the exynos_drm_connector. This moves things closer to completely
removing the exynos_drm_connector abstraction.

This patch splits display and manager from subdrv. The result is that
crtc functions can directly call into manager callbacks and encoder
functions can directly call into display callbacks. This will allow
us to remove the exynos_drm_hdmi shim and support mixer/hdmi & fimd/dp
with common code.

fixed the issue that when sub driver is probed, no kms drivers such as
fimd or hdmi are failed. no kms drivers have no manager so if manager is
null then encoder and connector creation should be ignored.

The struct exynos_drm_manager has to exist for exynos drm sub driver
using encoder and connector. If it isn't NULL to member of struct
exynos_drm_subdrv, will create encoder and connector else will not. And
the is_local member also doesn't need.

The exynos drm driver has several subdrv. They each can be module but it
causes unfixed probe order of exynodr drm driver and each subdrv. It
also needs some weird codes such as exynos_drm_fbdev_reinit and
exynos_drm_mode_group_reinit. This patch can remove weird codes and
clear codes through we doesn't modularity each subdrv.
Also this removes unnecessary codes related module.

This patch is a DRM Driver for Samsung SoC Exynos4210 and now enables
only FIMD yet but we will add HDMI support also in the future.

We tried to re-use lowlevel codes of the FIMD driver(s3c-fb.c
based on Linux framebuffer) but couldn't so because lowlevel codes
of s3c-fb.c are included internally and so FIMD module of this driver has
its own lowlevel codes.
We used GEM framework for buffer management and DMA APIs(dma_alloc_*)
for buffer allocation so we can allocate physically continuous memory
for DMA through it and also we could use CMA later if CMA is applied to
mainline.

this driver supports only physically continuous memory(non-iommu).
