* dmaengine: fix interrupt clearing for mv_xorSimon Guinot2010-09-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When using simultaneously the two DMA channels on a same engine, some transfers are never completed. For example, an endless lock can occur while writing heavily on a RAID5 array (with async-tx offload support enabled). Note that this issue can also be reproduced by using the DMA test client. On a same engine, the interrupt cause register is shared between two DMA channels. This patch make sure that the cause bit is only cleared for the requested channel. Add a quirk to catch this misconfiguration and try falling back to untranslated operation (which works in the MacPro3,1 case). Assuming there are other platforms with misconfigured iommus teach the ioatdma driver to treat initialization failures as non-fatal (just fail the driver load and emit a warning instead of triggering a BUG_ON). This can be classified as a boot regression since 2.6.32 on affected platforms since the ioatdma module did not autoload prior to that kernel.
