* treewide: Use struct_size() for devm_kmalloc() and friendsKees Cook2018-06-061-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Replaces open-coded struct size calculations with struct_size() for devm_*, f2fs_*, and sock_* allocations. Automatically generated (and manually adjusted) from the following Coccinelle script: // Direct reference to struct field. @@ identifier alloc =~ "devm_kmalloc|devm_kzalloc|sock_kmalloc|f2fs_kmalloc|f2fs_kzalloc"; expression HANDLE; expression GFP; identifier VAR, ELEMENT; expression COUNT; @@ - alloc(HANDLE, sizeof(*VAR) + COUNT * sizeof(*VAR->ELEMENT), GFP) + alloc(HANDLE, struct_size(VAR, ELEMENT, COUNT), GFP) // mr = kzalloc(sizeof(*mr) + m * sizeof(mr->map[0]), GFP_KERNEL); @@ identifier alloc =~ "devm_kmalloc|devm_kzalloc|sock_kmalloc|f2fs_kmalloc|f2fs_kzalloc"; expression HANDLE; expression GFP; identifier VAR, ELEMENT; expression COUNT; @@ - alloc(HANDLE, sizeof(*VAR) + COUNT * sizeof(VAR->ELEMENT[0]), GFP) + alloc(HANDLE, struct_size(VAR, ELEMENT, COUNT), GFP) // Same pattern, but can't trivially locate the trailing element name, // or variable name. @@ identifier alloc =~ "devm_kmalloc|devm_kzalloc|sock_kmalloc|f2fs_kmalloc|f2fs_kzalloc"; expression HANDLE; expression GFP; expression SOMETHING, COUNT, ELEMENT; @@ - alloc(HANDLE, sizeof(SOMETHING) + COUNT * sizeof(ELEMENT), GFP) + alloc(HANDLE, CHECKME_struct_size(&SOMETHING, ELEMENT, COUNT), GFP) Signed-off-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org>
* clk: bcm2835: remove remains from stub clk driverDanilo Krummrich2017-09-251-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit removes the fixed clocks introduced as a stub clock driver added with commit 75fabc3f6448 ("ARM: bcm2835: add stub clock driver"). Originally they were used to drive the AMBA bus and PL011 uart driver. Now these clocks are derived by the CPRMAN clock driver and configured in DT. Additionally, get rid of init_machine function in bcm2835 board file as there's nothing to do any longer. * clk: bcm2835: Migrate to clk_hw based registration and OF APIsStephen Boyd2016-09-141-16/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | Now that we have clk_hw based provider APIs to register clks, we can get rid of struct clk pointers while registering clks in these drivers, allowing us to move closer to a clear split of consumer and provider clk APIs. * clk: bcm2835: fix check of error code returned by devm_ioremap_resource()Vladimir Zapolskiy2016-03-151-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The change fixes potential oops while accessing iomem on invalid address, if devm_ioremap_resource() fails due to some reason. The devm_ioremap_resource() function returns ERR_PTR() and never returns NULL, which makes useless a following check for NULL. There are a pair of SPI masters and a mini UART that were last minute additions. As a result, they didn't get integrated in the same way as the other gates off of the VPU clock in CPRMAN. Signed-off-by: Eric Anholt <eric@anholt.net> Signed-off-by: Michael Turquette <mturquette@baylibre.com>
