* [Bluetooth] Enable SCO support for Broadcom HID proxy dongleMarcel Holtmann2006-07-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The Broadcom dongles with HID proxy support actually support SCO over HCI if the SCO buffer size values are corrected. So instead of disabling the SCO support, mark this dongle with the quirk for the Bluetooth core to correct the wrong buffer size values. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
* [Bluetooth] Add quirk for another broken RTX Telecom based dongleMarcel Holtmann2006-07-241-1/+2
| | | | | | | | This patch disables the ISOC transfers for another broken RTX Telecom based USB dongle. Starting the USB ISOC transfers only ends in a burst of error messages for invalid SCO packets on connection handle 0. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
* [Bluetooth] Correct SCO buffer size for Belkin devicesMarcel Holtmann2006-07-241-1/+2
| | | | | | | | The Belkin F8T012 and F8T013 devices are both based on a Bluetooth chip from Broadcom and their SCO buffer size values are wrong. The Bluetooth core should correct these values. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
* [Bluetooth] Correct SCO buffer size for another Broadcom chipMarcel Holtmann2006-07-241-2/+15
| | | | | | | | The SCO buffer size values on IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad laptops with a Bluetooth chip from Broadcom are wrong. The USB Bluetooth driver has to set a quirk to correct the SCO buffer size values. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
* [Bluetooth] Correct SCO buffer size on requestMarcel Holtmann2006-07-031-0/+6
| | | | | | | | This patch introduces a quirk that allows the drivers to tell the host to correct the SCO buffer size values. Signed-off-by: Olivier Galibert <galibert@pobox.com> Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
* [Bluetooth] Add suspend/resume support to the HCI USB driverMarcel Holtmann2006-07-031-0/+71
| | | | | | | | | This patch implements the suspend/resume methods for the HCI USB driver by killing all outstanding URBs on suspend, and re-issuing them on resume. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net> Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
* [Bluetooth] Use raw mode for the Frontline sniffer deviceMarcel Holtmann2006-07-031-0/+3
| | | | | | | The Frontline sniffer device looks like a normal H:2 Bluetooth device, but it is not and so mark it as raw mode device. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
* Remove obsolete #include <linux/config.h>Jörn Engel2006-06-301-1/+0

* [PATCH] USB: remove .owner field from struct usb_driverGreg Kroah-Hartman2006-01-041-1/+0
| | | | | | It is no longer needed, so let's remove it, saving a bit of memory. Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
* [Bluetooth]: Add another ignore parameter to the HCI USB driverMarcel Holtmann2005-11-081-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | This patchs adds the module parameter ignore_dga to the HCI USB driver which makes it possible to prevent this driver from being loaded by some buggy Digianswer devices. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* [PATCH] bluetooth: kmalloc + memset -> kzalloc conversionDeepak Saxena2005-11-071-3/+1

* [PATCH] gfp flags annotations - part 1Al Viro2005-10-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | - added typedef unsigned int __nocast gfp_t; - replaced __nocast uses for gfp flags with gfp_t - it gives exactly the same warnings as far as sparse is concerned, doesn't change generated code (from gcc point of view we replaced unsigned int with typedef) and documents what's going on far better. Signed-off-by: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
* [Bluetooth] Add ignore parameters to the HCI USB driverMarcel Holtmann2005-09-131-1/+18
| | | | | | | | | This patch adds the module parameters ignore_csr and ignore_sniffer to the HCI USB driver. This allows an easier use of CSR ROM chips that need an additional initialization routine and the Frontline sniffers. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
* [Bluetooth]: Move packet type into the SKB control bufferMarcel Holtmann2005-08-291-10/+11
| | | | | | | | | This patch moves the usage of packet type into the SKB control buffer. After this patch it is now possible to shrink the sk_buff structure and redefine its pkt_type. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* [Bluetooth]: Fix sparse warnings (__nocast type)Victor Fusco2005-08-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes the sparse warnings "implicit cast to nocast type" for the priority or gfp_mask parameters of the memory allocations. * [Bluetooth] Kill redundant NULL checks before kfree()Marcel Holtmann2005-08-061-4/+2
| | | | | | | There's no need to check for NULL before calling kfree() on a pointer. Signed-off-by: Jesper Juhl <juhl-lkml@dif.dk> Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
* [Bluetooth] Send HCI_Reset for Kensington dongleMarcel Holtmann2005-08-061-0/+3
| | | | | | | | The Kensington Bluetooth USB adapter is based on a Broadcom chip with the HID proxy support. To initialize these kind of devices correctly it is necessary to send HCI_Reset as the first command. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
