* unicore32/PCI: Remove redundant call of pci_bus_add_devices()Jiang Liu2013-06-141-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | pci_scan_bus() has called pci_bus_add_devices() already, so remove the redundant call of pci_bus_add_devices(). subsys_init() callbacks will be invoked before device_init() callbacks, so it should be safe to remove the redundant calls. * ARCH: drivers remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman2013-01-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fixes up all of the smaller arches that had __dev* markings for their platform-specific drivers. CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. * PCI: Provide a default pcibios_update_irq()Thierry Reding2012-09-181-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | Most architectures implement this in exactly the same way. Instead of having each architecture duplicate this function, provide a single implementation in the core and make it a weak symbol so that it can be overridden on architectures where it is required. * PCI: Discard __init annotations for pci_fixup_irqs() and related functionsThierry Reding2012-09-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Remove the __init annotations in order to keep pci_fixup_irqs() around after init (e.g. for hotplug). This requires the same change for the implementation of pcibios_update_irq() on all architectures. While at it, all __devinit annotations are removed as well, since they will be useless now that HOTPLUG is always on. * PCI: UniCore: convert pcibios_set_master() to a non-inlined functionMyron Stowe2012-01-061-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch converts UniCore's architecture-specific 'pcibios_set_master()' routine to a non-inlined function. This will allow follow on patches to create a generic 'pcibios_set_master()' function using the '__weak' attribute which can be used by all architectures as a default which, if necessary, can then be over- ridden by architecture-specific code. Converting 'pci_bios_set_master()' to a non-inlined function will allow UniCore's 'pcibios_set_master()' implementation to remain architecture-specific after the generic version is introduced and thus, not change current behavior. No functional change. Signed-off-by: Myron Stowe <myron.stowe@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Jesse Barnes <jbarnes@virtuousgeek.org>
* PCI: Make the struct pci_dev * argument of pci_fixup_irqs const.Ralf Baechle2011-07-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Aside of the usual motivation for constification, this function has a history of being abused a hook for interrupt and other fixups so I turned this function const ages ago in the MIPS code but it should be done treewide. Due to function pointer passing in varous places a few other functions had to be constified as well.
