* sh: remove support for sh7300 and solution engine 7300Magnus Damm2007-07-261-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | This patch removes old dead code: - kill off sh7300 cpu support - get rid of broken solution engine 7300 board support Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* clockevents: fix resume logicThomas Gleixner2007-07-211-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We need to make sure, that the clockevent devices are resumed, before the tick is resumed. The current resume logic does not guarantee this. Add CLOCK_EVT_MODE_RESUME and call the set mode functions of the clock event devices before resuming the tick / oneshot functionality. Fixup the existing users. Thanks to Nigel Cunningham for tracking down a long standing thinko, which affected the jinxed VAIO. * sh: Preliminary support for the SH-X3 CPU.Paul Mundt2007-06-201-3/+4
| | | | | | This adds basic support for UP SH-X3. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: section mismatch fixes for system timer.Paul Mundt2007-05-231-3/+2
| | | | | | Fix up a couple of section mismatch warnings regarding sys_timer. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: clockevent/clocksource/hrtimers/nohz TMU support.Paul Mundt2007-05-091-73/+109
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds basic support for clockevents and clocksources, presently only implemented for TMU-based systems (which are the majority of SH-3 and SH-4 systems). The old NO_IDLE_HZ implementation is also dropped completely, the only users of this were on TMU-based systems anyways. More work needs to be done to generalize the TMU handling, in that the current implementation is rather tied to the notion of TMU0 and TMU1 utilization. Additionally, as more SH timers switch over to this scheme, we'll be able to gut most of the remaining system timer infrastructure that existed before. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* Add IRQF_IRQPOLL flag on shBernhard Walle2007-05-083-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add IRQF_IRQPOLL on each timer interrupt on SH2. * sh: Add SH7785 Highlander board support (R7785RP).Paul Mundt2007-05-071-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | This adds preliminary support for the SH7785-based Highlander board. Some of the Highlander support code is reordered so that most of it can be reused directly. This also plugs in missing SH7785 checks in the places that need it, as this is the first board to support the CPU. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Clock framework tidying.Paul Mundt2006-12-063-4/+4
| | | | | | | | This syncs up the SH clock framework with the linux/clk.h API, for which there were only some minor changes required, namely the clk_get() dev_id and subsequent callsites. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Turn off IRQs around get_timer_offset() calls.Paul Mundt2006-12-063-25/+3
| | | | | | | | | Since all of the sys_timer sources currently do this on their own within the ->get_offset() path, it's more sensible to just have the caller take care of it when grabbing xtime_lock. Incidentally, this is more in line with what others (ie, ARM) are doing already. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Configurable timer IRQ.Paul Mundt2006-12-063-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | All of the various CPU subtypes currently hardcode TIMER_IRQ, switch this to a config option in the few places we need this. This allows further removal of hardcoded IRQ headers.. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: SE7206 build fixes.Paul Mundt2006-12-062-115/+10
| | | | | | | A number of API changes happened underneath the 7206 patches, update for everything that broke. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Add support for SH7206 and SH7619 CPU subtypes.Yoshinori Sato2006-12-064-0/+524
| | | | | | | | This implements initial support for the SH7206 (SH-2A) and SH7619 (SH-2) MMU-less CPUs. Signed-off-by: Yoshinori Sato <ysato@users.sourceforge.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Updates for IRQ handler changes.Paul Mundt2006-10-061-3/+2
| | | | | | Trivial fixes for build breakage introduced by IRQ handler changes. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Kill off timer_ops get_frequency().Paul Mundt2006-10-061-56/+2
| | | | | | We're not using this anywhere these days, kill it off. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Rename rtc_get/set_time() to avoid RTC_CLASS conflict.Paul Mundt2006-09-271-3/+3
| | | | | | | We have a clash with RTC_CLASS over these names, so we change them.. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: APM/PM support.Andriy Skulysh2006-09-271-2/+16
| | | | | | | | | This adds some simple PM stubs and the basic APM interfaces, primarily for use by hp6xx, where the existing userland expects it. Signed-off-by: Andriy Skulysh <askulysh@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
