* driver:gpio remove all usage of gpio_remove retval in driverabdoulaye berthe2014-09-181-4/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | this remove all reference to gpio_remove retval in all driver except pinctrl and gpio. the same thing is done for gpio and pinctrl in two different patches. * sh: replace CONFIG_GENERIC_GPIO by CONFIG_GPIOLIBAlexandre Courbot2013-03-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | SH GPIO drivers all use gpiolib and CONFIG_GENERIC_GPIO is only selected through CONFIG_GPIOLIB, yet some compilation units depended on CONFIG_GENERIC_GPIO. Make them depend on CONFIG_GPIOLIB instead since it is more accurate and prepares us for the future removal of CONFIG_GENERIC_GPIO. * sh: mach-x3proto: Migrate to linear irq domain.Paul Mundt2012-05-241-26/+31
| | | | | | | | In the interest of getting off of the create_irq() API we can get all of the functionality we're interested in through a linear IRQ domain. Fairly straightforward conversion utilizing a single linear domain. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* sh: boards/mach-x3proto: gpio: fix error handling codeKulikov Vasiliy2010-10-121-2/+2
| | | | | | | | Checks for (irq < 0) and (ilsel < 0) didn't make sense since they were unsigned. Made them signed. Signed-off-by: Vasiliy Kulikov <segooon@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: mach-x3proto: Improve ILSEL debugging.Paul Mundt2010-10-041-4/+12
| | | | | | | | | At the moment ILSEL blows up with a BUG when aliased sets are handed in, but as the enable call is able to hand back errors we opt for that path instead. None of the ILSEL peripherals are vital to the board's operation, so trapping a BUG is a bit excessive. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: mach-x3proto: gpio-keys support.Paul Mundt2010-10-041-2/+105
| | | | | | | This adds gpio-keys mappings for the button matrix on the baseboard, now that we have support for the pin controller. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: mach-x3proto: Support for baseboard GPIOs.Paul Mundt2010-10-042-0/+137
| | | | | | | This adds trivial support for the GPIOs implemented through the baseboard CPLD, used for driving the button matrix. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: mach-x3proto: Move the ilsel header to a better place.Paul Mundt2010-10-042-2/+2
| | | | | | | We'll be adding more headers for this board, so move this over to its own directory. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Support early IRQ vector map reservation for delayed controllers.Paul Mundt2010-10-021-9/+14
| | | | | | | | | | Some controllers will need to be initialized lazily due to pinmux constraints, while others may simply have no need to be brought online if there are no backing devices for them attached. In this case it's still necessary to be able to reserve their hardware vector map before dynamic IRQs get a hold of them. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Move platform smp ops in to their own structure.Paul Mundt2010-04-211-0/+7
| | | | | | | | This cribs the MIPS plat_smp_ops approach for wrapping up the platform ops. This will allow for mixing and matching different ops on the same platform in the future. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Mass ctrl_in/outX to __raw_read/writeX conversion.Paul Mundt2010-01-262-5/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | The old ctrl in/out routines are non-portable and unsuitable for cross-platform use. While drivers/sh has already been sanitized, there is still quite a lot of code that is not. This converts the arch/sh/ bits over, which permits us to flag the routines as deprecated whilst still building with -Werror for the architecture code, and to ensure that future users are not added. * usb: m66592-udc platform data on_chip supportMagnus Damm2009-07-231-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Convert the m66592-udc driver to use the on_chip flag from platform data to enable on chip behaviour instead of relying on CONFIG_SUPERH_BUILT_IN_M66592 ugliness. This makes the code cleaner and also allows us to support both external and internal m66592 with the same kernel. It also makes the Kconfig part more future proof since we with this patch can add support for new processors with on-chip m66592 without modifying the Kconfig. The patch adds a m66592 header file for platform data and ties in platform data to the existing m66592 devices. * sh: mach-x3proto: needs linux/irq.h.Paul Mundt2009-01-211-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | Since commit ba84be2338d3a2b6020d39279335bb06fcd332e1 ("remove linux/hardirq.h from asm-generic/local.h"), the asm/irq.h definitions that mach-x3proto/setup.c depends on are no longer available, causing the build to die. So, include linux/irq.h explicitly. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: mach-x3proto: Fix up smc91x platform data.Paul Mundt2008-08-111-1/+9
| | | | | | | smc91x on x3proto needs 16-bit access and nowait, which we can now do through the platform data. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Shuffle the board directories in to mach groups.Paul Mundt2008-07-293-0/+288
This flattens out the board directories in to individual mach groups, we will use this for getting rid of unneeded directories, simplifying the build system, and becoming more coherent with the refactored arch/sh/include topology. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
