* sh: Kill off machvec IRQ hinting.Paul Mundt2012-05-211-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Everything is using sparseirq these days, so we have no need to arbitrarily size nr_irqs ahead of time. The legacy IRQ pre-allocation likewise has no meaning for us, so that's killed off too. We now depend on nr_irqs expansion by the generic hardirq layer instead. It's also worth noting that the majority of boards had completely bogus values for their nr_irqs relative to their CPU and configurations, so this ends up correcting behaviour for quite a few platforms. * | set_rtc_mmss: show warning message only onceStephen Hemminger2011-01-131-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Occasionally the system gets into a state where the CMOS clock has gotten slightly ahead of current time and the periodic update of RTC fails. The message is a nuisance and repeats spamming the log. See: http://www.ntp.org/ntpfaq/NTP-s-trbl-spec.htm#Q-LINUX-SET-RTC-MMSS Rather than just removing the message, make it show only once and reduce severity since it indicates a normal and non urgent condition. * sh: Mass ctrl_in/outX to __raw_read/writeX conversion.Paul Mundt2010-01-261-25/+25
| | | | | | | | | | | The old ctrl in/out routines are non-portable and unsuitable for cross-platform use. While drivers/sh has already been sanitized, there is still quite a lot of code that is not. This converts the arch/sh/ bits over, which permits us to flag the routines as deprecated whilst still building with -Werror for the architecture code, and to ensure that future users are not added. * sh: Convert p3_ioremap() users to ioremap_prot().Paul Mundt2010-01-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | This kills off the ancient p3_ioremap(), converting over to the more generic ioremap_prot() instead. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Prevent 64-bit pgprot clobbering across ioremap implementations.Paul Mundt2010-01-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Presently 'flags' gets passed around a lot between the various ioremap helpers and implementations, which is only 32-bits. In the X2TLB case we use 64-bit pgprots which presently results in the upper 32bits being chopped off (which handily include our read/write/exec permissions). As such, we convert everything internally to using pgprot_t directly and simply convert over with pgprot_val() where needed. With this in place, transparent fixmap utilization for early ioremap works as expected. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: mach-sh03: Give the sh03 rtc its own spinlock.Paul Mundt2009-05-081-5/+5
| | | | | | | | This converts the sh03 rtc code off of using the global rtc_lock and on to its own spinlock. There are no other possible users of the rtc_lock, so serializing with it is not necessary. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* sh: mach-sh03: Use __set_io_port_base(), kill off special ioport_map().Paul Mundt2008-12-221-9/+0
| | | | | | | | This also fixes up a long-standing bug for this platform where the PIO base was set to a register offset, rather than the actual PIO offset itself. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: mach-sh03: Move off of cf_enabler to pata_platform, as per landisk.Paul Mundt2008-12-221-5/+34
| | | | | | | | This gets rid of the cf enabler use on mach-sh03 and switches to use pata_platform with the proper address directly. cf_enabler is subsequently disabled for mach-sh03. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* sh: Shuffle the board directories in to mach groups.Paul Mundt2008-07-293-0/+212
This flattens out the board directories in to individual mach groups, we will use this for getting rid of unneeded directories, simplifying the build system, and becoming more coherent with the refactored arch/sh/include topology. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
