* [PATCH] ppc64: Store virtual address in TLB flush batchesBenjamin Herrenschmidt2005-09-211-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch slightly change the TLB flush batch mecanism so that we store the full vaddr (including vsid) when adding an entry to the batch so that the flush part doesn't have to get to the context. This cleans it a bit, and paves the way to future updates like dynamic vsids. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>

* [PATCH] ppc64: Add VMX save flag to VPAOlof Johansson2005-09-051-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We need to indicate to the hypervisor that it needs to save our VMX registers when switching partitions on a shared-processor system, just as it needs to for FP and PMC registers. This could be made to be on-demand when VMX is used, but we don't do that for FP nor PMC right now either so let's not overcomplicate things. * [PATCH] ppc64: Remove redundant uses of physRpn_to_absRpnMichael Ellerman2005-08-291-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | physRpn_to_absRpn is a no-op on non-iSeries platforms, remove the two redundant calls. There's only one caller on iSeries so fold the logic in there so we can get rid of it completely. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
