* powerpc: Delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker2014-01-151-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. The one instance where we add an include for init.h covers off a case where that file was implicitly getting it from another header which itself didn't need it. * POWERPC: drivers: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman2013-01-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. * powerpc: Call dma_debug_add_bus for PCI and VIO busesAnton Blanchard2012-07-101-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | The DMA API debug code has hooks to verify all DMA entries have been freed at time of hot unplug. We need to call dma_debug_add_bus for this to work. Signed-off-by: Anton Blanchard <anton@samba.org> Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>
* powerpc/pseries: Add PFO support to the VIO busKent Yoder2012-05-141-0/+46
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add support for the Platform Facilities Option (PFO) to the VIO bus. These devices have a separate root node in OpenFirmware which requires additional parsing to map into the existing VIO device structure fields. This adds the interface for PFO device drivers to make synchronous hypervisor calls. * powerpc+sparc/vio: Modernize driver registrationBenjamin Herrenschmidt2012-03-281-1/+9
| | | | | | | | | | This makes vio_register_driver() get the module owner & name at compile time like PCI drivers do, and adds a name pointer directly in struct vio_driver to avoid having to explicitly initialize the embedded struct device. * powerpc: Move include files to arch/powerpc/include/asmStephen Rothwell2008-08-041-0/+118
from include/asm-powerpc. This is the result of a mkdir arch/powerpc/include/asm git mv include/asm-powerpc/* arch/powerpc/include/asm Followed by a few documentation/comment fixups and a couple of places where <asm-powepc/...> was being used explicitly. Of the latter only one was outside the arch code and it is a driver only built for powerpc. Signed-off-by: Stephen Rothwell <sfr@canb.auug.org.au> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
