* MIPS: ralink: MT7688 pinmux fixesJohn Crispin2016-01-201-30/+50
| | | | | | | | | | A few fixes to the pinmux data, 2 new muxes and a minor whitespace cleanup. Signed-off-by: John Crispin <blogic@openwrt.org> Cc: linux-mips@linux-mips.org Patchwork: https://patchwork.linux-mips.org/patch/11991/ Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
* MIPS: ralink: add MT7621 supportJohn Crispin2016-01-206-1/+298
| | | | | | | | | | | MT7621 is based on a 1004k core. This patch adds support for the SoC. The timer and IRQ is just boiler plate as GIC has recently been moved to generic places in the kernel and just works. * MIPS: ralink: add a symbol for INTCJohn Crispin2016-01-202-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | Some of the newer SoCs use the GIC. This patch splits the INTC out into its own symbol, allowing us to add the gic code in the following patch. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Seval of-enabled machines (bmips, lantiq, xlp, pistachio, ralink) copied the arguments from dtb to arcs_command_line to prevent the kernel from overwriting them. Since there is now an option to keep the dtb arguments, default to the new option remove the "backup" to arcs_command_line in case of USE_OF is enabled, except for those platforms that still take the bootloader arguments or do not use any at all. | * MIPS: ralink: Add tty detectionJohn Crispin2015-11-111-0/+26
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | MT7688 has several uarts that can be used for console. There are several boards in the wild, that use ttyS1 or ttyS2. This patch applies a simply autodetection routine to figure out which ttyS the bootloader used as console. The uarts come up in 6 bit mode by default. The bootloader will have set 8 bit mode on the console. Find that 8bit tty and use it. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If the USB HCD is running and the cpu is scaled too low, then the USB stops working. Increase the idle speed of the core to fix this if the kernel is built with USB support. The "magic" values are taken from the Ralink SDK Kernel. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Due to a typo the illegal access interrupt is never cleared in by the interupt handler, causing an effective deadlock on the first illegal access. * | MIPS: Add hook to get C0 performance counter interruptAndrew Bresticker2014-11-241-1/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The hardware perf event driver and oprofile interpret the global cp0_perfcount_irq differently: in the hardware perf event driver it is an offset from MIPS_CPU_IRQ_BASE and in oprofile it is the actual IRQ number. This still works most of the time since MIPS_CPU_IRQ_BASE is usually 0, but is clearly wrong. Since the performance counter interrupt may vary from platform to platform like the C0 timer interrupt, add the optional get_c0_perfcount_int hook which returns the IRQ number of the performance counter. The hook should return < 0 if the performance counter interrupt is shared with the timer. If the hook is not present, the CPU vector reported in C0_IntCtl (cp0_perfcount_irq) is used.
