vm_stat_account() accounts the shared_vm, stack_vm and reserved_vm now.
But we can also account for total_vm in the vm_stat_account() which makes
the code tidy.
Even for mprotect_fixup(), we can get the right result in the end.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/joro/iommu
Pull IOMMU updates from Joerg Roedel:
"The most important part of these updates is the IOMMU groups code
enhancement written by Alex Williamson. It abstracts the problem that
a given hardware IOMMU can't isolate any given device from any other
device (e.g. 32 bit PCI devices can't usually be isolated). Devices
that can't be isolated are grouped together. This code is required
for the upcoming VFIO framework.
Another IOMMU-API change written by me is the introduction of domain
attributes. This makes it easier to handle GART-like IOMMUs with the
IOMMU-API because now the start-address and the size of the domain
address space can be queried.
Besides that there are a few cleanups and fixes for the NVidia Tegra
IOMMU drivers and the reworked init-code for the AMD IOMMU. The
latter is from my patch-set to support interrupt remapping. The rest
of this patch-set requires x86 changes which are not mergabe yet. So
full support for interrupt remapping with AMD IOMMUs will come in a
future merge window."

The iommu=group_mf is really no longer needed with the addition of ACS
support in IOMMU drivers creating groups. Most multifunction devices
will now be grouped already. If a device has gone to the trouble of
exposing ACS, trust that it works. We can use the device specific ACS
function for fixing devices we trust individually. This largely
reverts bcb71abe.

ipi_call_lock/unlock() lock resp. unlock call_function.lock. This lock
protects only the call_function data structure itself, but it's
completely unrelated to cpu_online_mask. The mask to which the IPIs
are sent is calculated before call_function.lock is taken in
smp_call_function_many(), so the locking around set_cpu_online() is
pointless and can be removed.

Does block_sigmask() + tracehook_signal_handler(); called when
sigframe has been successfully built. All architectures converted
to it; block_sigmask() itself is gone now (merged into this one).
I'm still not too happy with the signature, but that's a separate
story (IMO we need a structure that would contain signal number +
siginfo + k_sigaction, so that get_signal_to_deliver() would fill one,
signal_delivered(), handle_signal() and probably setup...frame() -
take one).

As described in e6fa16ab ("signal: sigprocmask() should do
retarget_shared_pending()") the modification of current->blocked is
incorrect as we need to check whether the signal we're about to block is
pending in the shared queue.
Also, use the new helper function introduced in commit 5e6292c0f28f
("signal: add block_sigmask() for adding sigmask to current->blocked")
which centralises the code for updating current->blocked after
successfully delivering a signal and reduces the amount of duplicate code
across architectures. In the past some architectures got this code wrong,
so using this helper function should stop that from happening again.

Currently IA64 has a assembler implementation of sigrtprocmask.
Having a single architecture implement this in assembler language
is a serious maintenance problem that inhibits further evolution of the
signal subsystem. Everyone who wants to do deep changes to signals
would need to learn that assembler language.
Whatever performance improvements IA64 gets from this it cannot be worth
the price in maintainability.
We have some locking problems in signal that need to be fixed,
but this roadblock needs to be removed first.
So just disable the special assembler IA64 implementation and fall back to a
normal syscall there.

GETCPU(2) says:
int getcpu(unsigned *cpu, unsigned *node, struct getcpu_cache *tcache);
...
When either cpu or node is NULL nothing is written to the respective pointer.
But the fast system call path had no checks for NULL, and would

git://git.linaro.org/people/mszyprowski/linux-dma-mapping
Pull DMA mapping branch from Marek Szyprowski:
"Short summary for the whole series:
A few limitations have been identified in the current dma-mapping
design and its implementations for various architectures. There exist
more than one function for allocating and freeing the buffers:
currently these 3 are used dma_{alloc, free}_coherent,
dma_{alloc,free}_writecombine, dma_{alloc,free}_noncoherent.
For most of the systems these calls are almost equivalent and can be
interchanged. For others, especially the truly non-coherent ones
(like ARM), the difference can be easily noticed in overall driver
performance. Sadly not all architectures provide implementations for
all of them, so the drivers might need to be adapted and cannot be
easily shared between different architectures. The provided patches
unify all these functions and hide the differences under the already
existing dma attributes concept. The thread with more references is
available here:
http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-sh/msg09777.html
These patches are also a prerequisite for unifying DMA-mapping
implementation on ARM architecture with the common one provided by
dma_map_ops structure and extending it with IOMMU support. More
information is available in the following thread:
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.cross-arch/12819
More works on dma-mapping framework are planned, especially in the
area of buffer sharing and managing the shared mappings (together with
the recently introduced dma_buf interface: commit d15bd7ee445d
"dma-buf: Introduce dma buffer sharing mechanism").
The patches in the current set introduce a new alloc/free methods
(with support for memory attributes) in dma_map_ops structure, which
will later replace dma_alloc_coherent and dma_alloc_writecombine
functions."
People finally started piping up with support for merging this, so I'm
merging it as the last of the pending stuff from the merge window.
Looks like pohmelfs is going to wait for 3.5 and more external support
for merging.

This was marked as obsolete for quite a while now.. Now it is time to
remove it altogether. And while doing this, get rid of first_cpu() as
well. Also, remove the redundant setting of cpu_online_mask in
smp_prepare_cpus() because the generic code would have already set cpu 0
in cpu_online_mask.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/dhowells/linux-asm_system
Pull "Disintegrate and delete asm/system.h" from David Howells:
"Here are a bunch of patches to disintegrate asm/system.h into a set of
separate bits to relieve the problem of circular inclusion
dependencies.
I've built all the working defconfigs from all the arches that I can
and made sure that they don't break.
The reason for these patches is that I recently encountered a circular
dependency problem that came about when I produced some patches to
optimise get_order() by rewriting it to use ilog2().
This uses bitops - and on the SH arch asm/bitops.h drags in
asm-generic/get_order.h by a circuituous route involving asm/system.h.
The main difficulty seems to be asm/system.h. It holds a number of
low level bits with no/few dependencies that are commonly used (eg.
memory barriers) and a number of bits with more dependencies that
aren't used in many places (eg. switch_to()).
These patches break asm/system.h up into the following core pieces:
(1) asm/barrier.h
Move memory barriers here. This already done for MIPS and Alpha.
(2) asm/switch_to.h
Move switch_to() and related stuff here.
(3) asm/exec.h
Move arch_align_stack() here. Other process execution related bits
could perhaps go here from asm/processor.h.
(4) asm/cmpxchg.h
Move xchg() and cmpxchg() here as they're full word atomic ops and
frequently used by atomic_xchg() and atomic_cmpxchg().
(5) asm/bug.h
Move die() and related bits.
(6) asm/auxvec.h
Move AT_VECTOR_SIZE_ARCH here.
Other arch headers are created as needed on a per-arch basis."
Fixed up some conflicts from other header file cleanups and moving code
around that has happened in the meantime, so David's testing is somewhat
weakened by that. We'll find out anything that got broken and fix it..

When handling Interrupt Source Override in MADT table, the default
ISA IRQ trigger model and polarity should be edge-rising.
Current IA64 implmentation doesn't follow the specification and
set default ISA IRQ trigger model as level-low. With that wrong
configuration and when system runs out of interrupt vectors,
it will cause vector sharing among edge triggered ISA IRQ and
level triggered PCI IRQ, then interrupt storm. So change the code
to follow the specification.

SAL specification mandates that ia64_mca_log_sal_error_record() gets
called with interrupts enabled, and that's why ia64_mca_cmc_int_handler()
is enabling them. It however forgets to re-disable them when exiting,
which triggers WARN_ON() in generic IRQ handler.
Disable the interrupts again before exiting. This is analogous to
a3967685745 ("[IA64] disable interrupts at end of ia64_mca_cpe_int_handler()").

So here's a boot tested patch on top of Jason's series that does
all the cleanups I talked about and turns jump labels into a
more intuitive to use facility. It should also address the
various misconceptions and confusions that surround jump labels.
Typical usage scenarios:
#include <linux/static_key.h>
struct static_key key = STATIC_KEY_INIT_TRUE;
if (static_key_false(&key))
do unlikely code
else
do likely code
Or:
if (static_key_true(&key))
do likely code
else
do unlikely code
The static key is modified via:
static_key_slow_inc(&key);
...
static_key_slow_dec(&key);
The 'slow' prefix makes it abundantly clear that this is an
expensive operation.
I've updated all in-kernel code to use this everywhere. Note
that I (intentionally) have not pushed through the rename
blindly through to the lowest levels: the actual jump-label
patching arch facility should be named like that, so we want to
decouple jump labels from the static-key facility a bit.
On non-jump-label enabled architectures static keys default to
likely()/unlikely() branches.
