* ARM: pxa: make more mach/*.h files localArnd Bergmann2015-12-011-2/+2
| | | | | | | | Lots of header files are never included outside of a mach-pxa directory and do not need to be made visible in include/mach, so let's just move them all down one level. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* ARM: pxa: cm-x300: Use PWM lookup tableThierry Reding2015-10-141-2/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Use a PWM lookup table to provide the PWM to the pwm-backlight device. The driver has a legacy code path that is required only because boards still use the legacy method of requesting PWMs by global ID. Replacing these usages allows that legacy fallback to be removed. * ARM: pxa: fix dm9000 platform data regressionRobert Jarzmik2015-07-161-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since dm9000 driver added support for a vcc regulator, platform data based platforms have their ethernet broken, as the regulator claiming returns -EPROBE_DEFER and prevents dm9000 loading. This patch fixes this for all pxa boards using dm9000, by using the specific regulator_has_full_constraints() function. This was discovered and tested on the cm-x300 board. Fixes: 7994fe55a4a2 ("dm9000: Add regulator and reset support to dm9000") Signed-off-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Acked-by: Igor Grinberg <grinberg@compulab.co.il>
* ARM: 8025/1: Get rid of meminfoLaura Abbott2014-06-011-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | memblock is now fully integrated into the kernel and is the prefered method for tracking memory. Rather than reinvent the wheel with meminfo, migrate to using memblock directly instead of meminfo as an intermediate. * ARM: pxa: Initialize PWM backlight enable_gpio fieldThierry Reding2013-10-161-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | The GPIO API defines 0 as being a valid GPIO number, so this field needs to be initialized explicitly. A special case is the Palm Tungsten|C board. Since it doesn't use any quirks that would require the existing .init() or .exit() hooks it can simply use the new enable_gpio field. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
* gpio: (gpio-pca953x) move header to linux/platform_data/Vivien Didelot2013-08-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This patch moves the pca953x.h header from include/linux/i2c to include/linux/platform_data and updates existing support accordingly. * ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren2012-12-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. Tested-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Platform data for device drivers should be defined in include/linux/platform_data/*.h, not in the architecture and platform specific directories. | | * ARM: pxa: clean up set_pxa_fb_infoRussell King - ARM Linux2011-03-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | set_pxa_fb_info() has been a long-standing wart in the naming scheme of the pxa_set_xxx_info() functions. This renames the function, and combines set_pxa_fb_parent() with set_pxa_fb_info(). * | ARM: pxa2xx: reorganize I2C filesSebastian Andrzej Siewior2011-03-211-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch moves the platform data definition from arch/arm/plat-pxa/include/plat/i2c.h to include/linux/i2c/pxa-i2c.h so it can be accessed from x86 the same way as on ARM. This change should make no functional change to the PXA code. The move is verified by building the following defconfigs: cm_x2xx_defconfig corgi_defconfig em_x270_defconfig ezx_defconfig imote2_defconfig pxa3xx_defconfig spitz_defconfig zeus_defconfig raumfeld_defconfig magician_defconfig mmp2_defconfig pxa168_defconfig pxa910_defconfig Signed-off-by: Sebastian Andrzej Siewior <bigeasy@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Dirk Brandewie <dirk.brandewie@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* ARM: pxa: Introduce pxa{25x,27x,3xx}_map_io()Marek Vasut2010-12-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch introduces pxa2xx_map_io() and pxa3xx_map_io() to distinguish between PXA25x/PXA27x and PXA3xx memory mapping. Also, fixup for platforms broken after introducing pxa{25x,27x}_map_io() and pxa3xx_map_io() is included. * arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_ioNicolas Pitre2010-10-201-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc. The various declarations were removed using the following script: grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \ sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }' [ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ] Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Acked-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao at canonical.com>

* [ARM] pxa: make it clear by converting MMC 'delay_detect' to millisecondEric Miao2010-05-111-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | delay_detect in HZ is confusing, convert it to be millisecond based. And thus remove those unnecessary call to msecs_to_jiffies() at runtime for this field. Other constants are converted assuming HZ == 100, which are basically true for those platforms. The assignment in csb726.c was incorrect, and is fixed in this patch as a result.
