* ARM: OMAP2+: remove DSP platform deviceKristina Martšenko2014-07-151-134/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | It was added to support DSP Bridge. Since DSP Bridge was removed, and nothing else is using the platform device, remove it too. * ARM: OMAP2+: create dsp device only on OMAP3 SoCsSuman Anna2014-07-071-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The DSP platform device for TI DSP/Bridge is currently created unconditionally whenever CONFIG_TIDSPBRIDGE is enabled. This device should only be created on OMAP34xx/ OMAP36xx SoCs, and not for other OMAP3 derived SoCs or when booting multi-arch images on other SoCs. So, add a check for the SoC family both before creating the device and allocating the carveout memory for the device. | | | | | | | | | Commit 90173882ed15a8034d6d162da5f343a2c7d87587 ("omap: add dsp platform device") used CONFIG_BRIDGE_DVFS were it obviously meant CONFIG_TIDSPBRIDGE_DVFS. Fix that. Signed-off-by: Paul Bolle <pebolle@tiscali.nl> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: OMAP: Make plat/omap-pm.h local to mach-omap2Tony Lindgren2012-10-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We must move this for ARM common zImage support. Note that neither drivers/media/rc/ir-rx51.c or drivers/media/platform/omap3isp/ispvideo.c need to include omap-pm.h, so this patch removes the include for those files. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 32aaeffbd4a7457bf2f7448b33b5946ff2a960eb (Merge branch 'modsplit-Oct31_2011'...) caused some build errors. Fix these and make sure we always have export.h or module.h included for MODULE_ and EXPORT_SYMBOL users: $ grep -rl ^MODULE_ arch/arm/*omap*/*.c | xargs \ grep -L linux/module.h arch/arm/mach-omap2/dsp.c arch/arm/mach-omap2/mailbox.c arch/arm/mach-omap2/omap-iommu.c arch/arm/mach-omap2/smartreflex.c Also check we either have export.h or module.h included for the files exporting symbols: $ grep -rl EXPORT_SYMBOL arch/arm/*omap*/*.c | xargs \ grep -L linux/export.h | xargs grep -L linux/module.h Cc: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* OMAP2/3: PRM/CM: prefix OMAP2 PRM/CM functions with "omap2_"Paul Walmsley2010-12-211-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that OMAP4-specific PRCM functions have been added, distinguish the existing OMAP2/3-specific PRCM functions by prefixing them with "omap2_". This patch should not result in any functional change. * OMAP2/3: PRCM: split OMAP2/3-specific PRCM code into OMAP2/3-specific filesPaul Walmsley2010-12-211-2/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In preparation for adding OMAP4-specific PRCM accessor/mutator functions, split the existing OMAP2/3 PRCM code into OMAP2/3-specific files. Most of what was in mach-omap2/{cm,prm}.{c,h} has now been moved into mach-omap2/{cm,prm}2xxx_3xxx.{c,h}, since it was OMAP2xxx/3xxx-specific. This process also requires the #includes in each of these files to be changed to reference the new file name. As part of doing so, add some comments into plat-omap/sram.c and plat-omap/mcbsp.c, which use "sideways includes", to indicate that these users of the PRM/CM includes should not be doing so.
