* ARM: nspire: Remove unneeded nspire_map_io()Geert Uytterhoeven2018-03-071-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | nspire_map_io() just calls debug_ll_io_init(). If machine_desc.map_io is not set, devicemaps_init() in the common ARM code will call debug_ll_io_init(), so nspire_map_io() and the initialization of .map_io can be removed. * arm: use of_platform_default_populate() to populateKefeng Wang2016-06-231-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Use helper of_platform_default_populate() in linux/of_platform when possible, instead of calling of_platform_populate() with the default match table. * ARM: 8366/1: move Dual-Timer SP804 driver to drivers/clocksourceSudeep Holla2015-06-021-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The ARM Dual-Timer SP804 module is peripheral found not only on ARM32 platforms but also on ARM64 platforms. This patch moves the driver out of arch/arm to driver/clocksource so that it can be used on ARM64 platforms also. * ARM: make arrays containing machine compatible strings constUwe Kleine-König2015-02-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The definition static const char *axxia_dt_match[] __initconst = { ... defines a changable array of constant strings. That is you must not do: *axxia_dt_match[0] = 'k'; but axxia_dt_match[0] = "different string"; is fine. So the annotation __initconst is wrong and yields a compiler error when other really const variables are added with __initconst. As the struct machine_desc member dt_compat is declared as const char *const *dt_compat; making the arrays const is the better alternative over changing all annotations to __initdata.
