* ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren2012-12-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. Tested-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>
* ARM: Kirkwood: Fix sparse warnings.Andrew Lunn2012-11-191-3/+3
| | | | | | | | Mostly missing statics, but also missing include files and void parameters. Signed-off-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch> Signed-off-by: Jason Cooper <jason@lakedaemon.net>
* ARM: Orion: SPI: Add clk/clkdev support.Andrew Lunn2012-05-081-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | Remove now redundant tclk from SPI platform data. This makes the platform data empty, so remove it. Signed-off-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch> Tested-by: Jamie Lentin <jm@lentin.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Mike Turquette <mturquette@linaro.org>
* ASoC: Convert kirkwood-t5325 to use snd_soc_register_card()Axel Lin2012-02-071-0/+6
| | | | | | | Use snd_soc_register_card() instead of creating a "soc-audio" platform device. Signed-off-by: Axel Lin <axel.lin@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
* ARM: restart: kirkwood: use new restart hookRussell King2012-01-051-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Hook these platforms restart code into the new restart hook rather than using arch_reset(). Acked-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

* ARM: Remove dependency of plat-orion time code on mach directory includes.Lennert Buytenhek2011-03-031-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch makes the various mach dirs that use the plat-orion time code pass in timer and bridge addresses explicitly, instead of having plat-orion get those values by including a mach dir include file -- the latter mechanism is problematic if you want to support multiple ARM platforms in the same kernel image. Signed-off-by: Lennert Buytenhek <buytenh@secretlab.ca> Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@fluxnic.net>
* [ARM] Kirkwood: t5325: add audio supportArnaud Patard2011-03-031-0/+17
| | | | | | | | | This patch declares the i2c audio codec and initialise audio. It's adding the alc5621 codec in the i2c board info and is calling kirkwood_audio_init() to initialize kirkwood audio. Signed-off-by: Arnaud Patard <arnaud.patard@rtp-net.org> Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@fluxnic.net>
* arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_ioNicolas Pitre2010-10-201-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc. The various declarations were removed using the following script: grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \ sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }' [ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ] Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Acked-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao at canonical.com>
* [ARM] Kirkwood: add support for PCIe1Saeed Bishara2010-07-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | This patch extends the kirkwood's PCIe support up to 2 controllers as in the 6282 devices. Signed-off-by: Saeed Bishara <saeed@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@fluxnic.net>

* [ARM] Kirkwood: Add support for HP t5325 Thin ClientMartin Michlmayr2010-07-161-0/+194
Add support for the HP t5325 Thin Client. This thin client is based on a Marvell Kirkwood chip at 1.2 GHz and features 512 MB RAM, 512 MB SATA-attached flash and an XGI Volari Z11 GPU. Signed-off-by: Martin Michlmayr <tbm@cyrius.com> Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@fluxnic.net>
