* genirq: Remove irq argument from irq flow handlersThomas Gleixner2015-09-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Most interrupt flow handlers do not use the irq argument. Those few which use it can retrieve the irq number from the irq descriptor. Remove the argument. Search and replace was done with coccinelle and some extra helper scripts around it. Thanks to Julia for her help! * PCI/MSI: Rename mask/unmask_msi_irq treewideThomas Gleixner2014-11-231-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The PCI/MSI irq chip callbacks mask/unmask_msi_irq have been renamed to pci_msi_mask/unmask_irq to mark them PCI specific. Rename all usage sites. The conversion helper functions are kept around to avoid conflicts in next and will be removed after merging into mainline. Coccinelle assisted conversion. No functional change. * ARM: iop13xx: fix msi support with sparse IRQArnd Bergmann2014-05-261-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | patch 37ebbcff7837 ("arm: iop13xx: Use sparse irqs for MSI") moved iop13xx over to sparse IRQ support, but this broke the build for the msi.c file, which now has to include mach/irqs.h itself. * arm: iop13xx: Use sparse irqs for MSIThomas Gleixner2014-05-161-40/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | No need for a private allocator. The core code handles it already. Allocate the non MSI irqs right at boot time via machine_desc->nr_irqs and let the sparse core handle the MSI space. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | WARNING: arch/arm/mach-iop13xx/built-in.o - Section mismatch: reference to .init.text:iop13xx_pcie_map_irq from .text between 'iop13xx_pci_setup' (at offset 0x7fc) and 'iop13xx_map_pci_memory' While fixing this warning I also recalled Adrian Bunk's recommendation to not use inline in .c files, as 'iop13xx_map_pci_memory' is needlessly inlined. Removing 'inline' uncovered some dead code so that is cleaned up as well. Signed-off-by: Dan Williams <dan.j.williams@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
