* ARM: hisi: consolidate the hisilicon machine entriesJiancheng Xue2016-07-071-28/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | The original patch was to add compatible string for Hi3519 soc and do some cleanup. Since the generic machine entry could meet most of the cases, so I did a further cleanup to reuse it and just keep one machine entry that needs map_io here. * ARM: hisi: Remove clk-provider.h includeStephen Boyd2015-07-201-1/+0
| | | | | | | | This file doesn't use the clk provider APIs. Remove the include. Cc: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@linaro.org> Cc: Wei Xu <xuwei5@hisilicon.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
* ARM: make arrays containing machine compatible strings constUwe Kleine-König2015-02-191-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The definition static const char *axxia_dt_match[] __initconst = { ... defines a changable array of constant strings. That is you must not do: *axxia_dt_match[0] = 'k'; but axxia_dt_match[0] = "different string"; is fine. So the annotation __initconst is wrong and yields a compiler error when other really const variables are added with __initconst. As the struct machine_desc member dt_compat is declared as const char *const *dt_compat; making the arrays const is the better alternative over changing all annotations to __initdata. * ARM: hisi: enable HiP01 SoCWang Long2015-01-211-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | Enable Hisilicon HiP01 SoC. This HiP01 SoC series support both one core or dual cores and quad cores. The core is Cortex A9. Signed-off-by: Wang Long <long.wanglong@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Wei Xu <xuwei5@hisilicon.com> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
* ARM: hisi: enable HiP04Haojian Zhuang2014-09-031-0/+9
| | | | | | | | Support HiP04 SoC what supports 16 cores. And it relies on MCPM framework. Signed-off-by: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Wei Xu <xuwei5@hisilicon.com>
* ARM: hisi: remove smp from machine descriptorHaojian Zhuang2014-07-301-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Use CPU_METHOD_OF_DECLARE() instead. And declare smp method in dts file. Changelog: v6: * Use hisilicon,hi3620-smp as enable-method property in Hi3620 dts. * power: reset: move hisilicon reboot codeHaojian Zhuang2014-07-301-33/+0
| | | | | | | | Move reboot code from hisilicon platform driver into reset driver. Signed-off-by: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@linaro.org> Acked-by: Wei Xu <xuwei5@hisilicon.com> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
* ARM: hisi: enable hix5hd2 SoCHaifeng Yan2014-07-301-0/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Enable support for the Hisilicon HiX5HD2 SoC. This HiX5HD2 SoC series support both single and dual Cortex-A9 cores. Add ARCH_HIX5HD2 to distinguish HiX5HD2 from Hi3xxx. They are different in implementation such as SMP, IPs integarted and earlycon configure. * ARM: hisi: remove init_timeHaojian Zhuang2013-12-201-7/+0
| | | | | | | | Since init_time in machine descriptor is already covered by arch/arm/kernel/time.c by default. We needn't to append it any more. Signed-off-by: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@linaro.org>
* ARM: hisi: rename hi3xxx to hisiHaojian Zhuang2013-12-201-0/+97
Since some new Hisilicon SoCs are not named as hi3xxx, rename mach-hi3xxx to mach-hisi instead. And the pronounciation of "hisi" is similar to the chinese pronounciation of Hisilicon. So Hisilicon guys like this name. ARCH_HI3xxx will be renamed later since other drivers are using it and they are still in linux-next git tree. So rename ARCH_HI3xxx later.
