Pull spi updates from Mark Brown:
"No framework work here, only a bunch of driver updates of varying
sizes:
- Factoring out of the core hardware support from the MXS MMC driver
by Marek Vasut to allow the hardware to also be used for SPI.
- Lots of error handling cleanups from Guenter Roeck
- Removal of the existing Tegra driver which is quite comprehensively
broken as detailed in the changelog for the removal.

Even with devicetree support, we needed platform data to provide some data,
leading to mixed device tree and platform data. This patch makes it possible to
provide all that information via device tree. Now, the data must be provided
via platform data _or_ device tree completely.
Only in case of DMA where a callback specification is necessary (dma_filter()),
platform data is the only option.

The BCM2835 GPIO module is a combined GPIO controller, (GPIO) interrupt
controller, and pinmux/control device.
Original driver by Simon Arlott.
Rewrite including GPIO chip device by Chris Boot.
Upstreaming changes by Stephen Warren:
* Wrote DT binding documentation.
* Changed brcm,function to an integer to more directly match the
datasheet, and to match brcm,pins being an integer.
* Implemented pull-up/down pin config.
* Removed read-only DT property and related code. The restriction this
implemented are driven by the board, not the GPIO HW block, so don't
really make sense of a HW block binding, were in general incomplete
(since they could only know about the few pins hard-coded into the
Raspberry Pi B board design and not the uncommitted GPIOS), and are
better represented simply by not writing incorrect data into pin
configuration nodes.
* Don't set GPIO_IN function select in gpio_request_enable() to avoid
glitches; defer this to gpio_set_direction(). Consequently, removed
empty bcm2835_pmx_gpio_request_enable().
* Simplified enabled_irq_map[]; make it explicitly 1 entry per bank.
* Lifted use of enabled_irq_map[] outside the per-interrupt loop in
IRQ handler, thus fixing an issue where the code was indexing into
enabled_irq_map[] by intra-bank GPIO ID, not global GPIO ID.
* Removed locking in IRQ handler, since all other code uses
spin_lock_irqsave() and so guarantees it doesn't run concurrently
with the handler.
* Moved duplicated BUILD_BUG_ON()s into probe(). Also check size of
bcm2835_gpio_pins[].
* Remove range-checking from bcm2835_pctl_get_groups_count() since we've
decided to trust the pinctrl core.
* Made bcm2835_pmx_gpio_disable_free() call bcm2835_pinctrl_fsel_set()
directly for simplicity.
* Fixed body of dt_free_map() to match latest dt_node_to_map().
* Removed GPIO ownership check from bcm2835_pmx_enable() since the pinctrl
core owns doing this.
* Made irq_chip and pinctrl_gpio_range .name == MODULE_NAME so it's more
descriptive.
* Simplified remove(); removed call to non-existent
pinctrl_remove_gpio_range(), remove early return on error.
* Don't force gpiochip's base to 0. Set gpio_range.base to gpiochip's
base GPIO number.
* Error-handling cleanups in probe().
* Switched to module_platform_driver() rather than open-coding.
* Made pin, group, and function names lower-case.
* s/broadcom/brcm/ in DT property names.
* s/2708/2835/.
* Fixed a couple minor checkpatch warnings, and other minor cleanup.

The semantics of the interactions between GPIO and pinctrl may be
unclear, e.g. which one do you request first? This amends the

The driver integrates a Virtual Tunnel Endpoint (VTEP) functionality
that learns MAC to IP address mapping.
This implementation has not been tested only against the Linux

Allow users to specify the phy interface of the CPSW slaves. The new
node parameter is called "phy_if_mode" and is optional. The original
behaviour of the driver is preserved when not given.

On small systems (e.g. embedded ones) IP addresses are often configured
by bootloaders and get assigned to kernel via parameter "ip=". If set to
"ip=dhcp", even nameserver entries from DHCP daemons are handled. These
entries exported in /proc/net/pnp are commonly linked by /etc/resolv.conf.
To configure nameservers for networks without DHCP, this patch adds option
<dns0-ip> and <dns1-ip> to kernel-parameter 'ip='.

Add rtnl_link_ops to IPoIB, with the first usage being child device
create/delete through them. Childs devices are now either legacy ones,
created/deleted through the ipoib sysfs entries, or RTNL ones.
Adding support for RTNL childs involved refactoring of ipoib_vlan_add
which is now used by both the sysfs and the link_ops code.
Also, added ndo_uninit entry to support calling unregister_netdevice_queue
from the rtnl dellink entry. This required removal of calls to
ipoib_dev_cleanup from the driver in flows which use unregister_netdevice,
since the networking core will invoke ipoib_uninit which does exactly that.

This patch adds all the necessary data structure and support
functions to implement TFO server side. It also documents a number
of flags for the sysctl_tcp_fastopen knob, and adds a few Linux
extension MIBs.
In addition, it includes the following:
1. a new TCP_FASTOPEN socket option an application must call to
supply a max backlog allowed in order to enable TFO on its listener.
2. A number of key data structures:
"fastopen_rsk" in tcp_sock - for a big socket to access its
request_sock for retransmission and ack processing purpose. It is
non-NULL iff 3WHS not completed.
"fastopenq" in request_sock_queue - points to a per Fast Open
listener data structure "fastopen_queue" to keep track of qlen (# of
outstanding Fast Open requests) and max_qlen, among other things.
"listener" in tcp_request_sock - to point to the original listener
for book-keeping purpose, i.e., to maintain qlen against max_qlen
as part of defense against IP spoofing attack.
3. various data structure and functions, many in tcp_fastopen.c, to
support server side Fast Open cookie operations, including
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_fastopen_key to allow manual rekeying.

This patch removes bus_id from mdio platform data, The reason to remove
bus_id is, stmmac mdio bus_id is always same as stmmac bus-id, so there
is no point in passing this in different variable.
Also stmmac ethernet driver connects to phy with bus_id passed its
platform data.
So, having single bus-id is much simpler.

Commit 9ad7c049 ("tcp: RFC2988bis + taking RTT sample from 3WHS for
the passive open side") changed the initRTO from 3secs to 1sec in
accordance to RFC6298 (former RFC2988bis). This reduced the time till
the last SYN retransmission packet gets sent from 93secs to 31secs.
RFC1122 is stating that the retransmission should be done for at least 3
minutes, but this seems to be quite high.
"However, the values of R1 and R2 may be different for SYN
and data segments. In particular, R2 for a SYN segment MUST
be set large enough to provide retransmission of the segment
for at least 3 minutes. The application can close the
connection (i.e., give up on the open attempt) sooner, of
course."
This patch increases the value of TCP_SYN_RETRIES to the value of 6,
providing a retransmission window of 63secs.
The comments for SYN and SYNACK retries have also been updated to
describe the current settings. The same goes for the documentation file
"Documentation/networking/ip-sysctl.txt".

Add support for an MDIO bus multiplexer controlled by a simple memory-mapped
device, like an FPGA. The device must be memory-mapped and contain only
8-bit registers (which keeps things simple).
Tested on a Freescale P5020DS board which uses the "PIXIS" FPGA attached
to the localbus.

Currently the "bonding" driver does not support load balancing outgoing
traffic in LACP mode for IPv6 traffic. IPv4 (and TCP or UDP over IPv4)
are currently supported; this patch adds transmit hashing for IPv6 (and
TCP or UDP over IPv6), bringing IPv6 up to par with IPv4 support in the
bonding driver. In addition, bounds checking has been added to all
transmit hashing functions.
The algorithm chosen (xor'ing the bottom three quads of the source and
destination addresses together, then xor'ing each byte of that result into
the bottom byte, finally xor'ing with the last bytes of the MAC addresses)
was selected after testing almost 400,000 unique IPv6 addresses harvested
from server logs. This algorithm had the most even distribution for both
big- and little-endian architectures while still using few instructions. Its
behavior also attempts to closely match that of the IPv4 algorithm.
The IPv6 flow label was intentionally not included in the hash as it appears
to be unset in the vast majority of IPv6 traffic sampled, and the current
algorithm not using the flow label already offers a very even distribution.
Fragmented IPv6 packets are handled the same way as fragmented IPv4 packets,
ie, they are not balanced based on layer 4 information. Additionally,
IPv6 packets with intermediate headers are not balanced based on layer
4 information. In practice these intermediate headers are not common and
this should not cause any problems, and the alternative (a packet-parsing
loop and look-up table) seemed slow and complicated for little gain.
