* | timer_stats/doc: Fix /proc/timer_stats documentation | Michael Kerrisk | 2014-05-04 | 1 | -3/+3 |
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Documentation/timers/timer_stats.txt claims: "The readout of /proc/timer_stats automatically disables sampling. The sampled information is kept until a new sample period is started. This allows multiple readouts." Some simple testing shows that reading from /proc/timer_stats does not disable sampling. Looking back over past source code, it appears that it never did. * | Documentation: move timer related documentation to a single place | Thomas Gleixner | 2008-04-17 | 1 | -0/+73 |
We have two directories with timer related information in Documentation/: hrtimers/ and hrtimer/. timer_stats are not restricted to hrtimers. Move all those files into Documentation/timers where we can pile up other timer related docs as well.
