A bug fix went into 'net' for ieee802154/fakehard.c, which is removed
in 'net-next'.
Add build fix into the merge from Stephen Rothwell in openvswitch, the
logging macros take a new initial 'log' argument, a new call was added
in 'net' so when we merge that in here we have to explicitly add the
new 'log' arg to it else the build fails.

a9ecdc0fdc54 ("of/irq: Fix lookup to use 'interrupts-extended' property
first") updated the description to say that:
- Both 'interrupts' and 'interrupts-extended' may be present
- Software should prefer 'interrupts-extended'
- Software that doesn't comprehend 'interrupts-extended' may use
'interrupts'
But there is still a paragraph at the end that prohibits having both and
says 'interrupts' should be preferred.
Remove the contradictory text.

but didn't add the binding documentation.
Since this property will be supported by a number of host bridge drivers,

"The most notable is the revert of lock splitting optimization in ahci.
This also made the IRQ handling threaded even when there's only one
IRQ in use. The conversion missed IRFQ_SHARED leading to screaming
IRQs problem in some cases and the threaded IRQ handling showed
performance regression in some LKP test cases. The changes are
reverted for now. It'll probably be retried once threaded IRQ
handling is removed from ahci.
Other than that, there's one fix for ahci and several patches adding

On top of that...both ath9k and mwifiex get their usual level of

It is not possible to auto detect the irq numbers used by the cores on
an arm SoC. If bcma was registered with device tree it will search for
some device tree nodes with the irq number and add it to the core
configuration.

Add "micrel,rmii-reference-clock-select-25-mhz" to Micrel ethernet PHY
binding documentation.
This property is needed to properly describe some revisions of Micrel
PHYs which has the function of this configuration bit inverted so that
setting it enables 25 MHz rather than 50 MHz clock mode.
Note that a clock reference ("rmii-ref") is still needed to actually
select either mode.

Micrel KSZ8081 and KSZ8091 PHYs have the RMII Reference Clock Select
bit, which is used to select 25 or 50 MHz clock mode.
Note that on some revisions of the PHY (e.g. KSZ8081RND) the function of
this bit is inverted so that setting it enables 25 rather than 50 MHz
mode. Add a new device-tree property
"micrel,rmii-reference-clock-select-25-mhz" to describe this.

AM4372 SoC has 2 DCAN modules. Add compatible id and
raminit driver data for it. The driver data is same as AM3352
but this gives us flexibility to add AM4372 specific quirks
if required later.

Some TI SoCs like DRA7 have a RAMINIT register specification
different from the other AMxx SoCs and as expected by the
existing driver.
To add more insanity, this register is shared with other
IPs like DSS, PCIe and PWM.
Provides a more generic mechanism to specify the RAMINIT
register location and START/DONE bit position and use the
syscon/regmap framework to access the register.

With legacy booting, the platform init code was taking care of
the configuring of GPIOs. With device tree based booting, things
may or may not work depending what bootloader has configured or
if the legacy platform code gets called.
Let's add support for the pwrdn and reset GPIOs to the smc91x
driver to fix the issues of smc91x not working properly when
booted in device tree mode.
And let's change n900 to use these settings as some versions
of the bootloader do not configure things properly causing
errors.

When posting a patch series that includes both code implementing a
Device Tree binding and its associated documentation, the DT docs
should come in the series before the implementation.
This not only avoids checkpatch.pl to complain about undocumented
bindings but also makes the review process easier.
Document this convention since it may not be obvious.

i.MX6SX has some new features of thermal interrupt function,
there are LOW, HIGH and PANIC irq for thermal sensor, so add
platform data to separate different thermal version;
The reset value of LOW ALARM is 0 which means the highest
temp, so the LOW ALARM will be triggered once irq is enabled,
so we need to correct it before enabling thermal irq;
Enable PANIC ALARM as critical trip point, it will trigger
system reset via SRC module once PANIC IRQ is triggered, it
is pure hardware function, so use it instead of software
reset by cooling device.

The rk3288 has the ability to invert the polarity of the PWM. Let's
enable that ability. Note that this increases pwm_cells to 3 for
rk3288.

The same FTM PWM device can have a different endianness on different
SoCs. The device tree provides a property to describing this so that an
operating system device driver can handle all variants of the device.
Refer to the table below for the endianness of the FTM PWM block as
integrated into the existing SoCs:
