* Input: zforce - add regulator handlingHeiko Stuebner2014-07-211-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | It's possible that the controller has an individually switchable power supply. Therefore add support to control a supplying regulator. As this is not always the case, the regulator is requested as optional. Signed-off-by: Heiko Stuebner <heiko.stuebner@bq.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
* Input: add driver for Microchip's CAP1106Daniel Mack2014-07-181-0/+53
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds a driver for Microchips CAP1106, an I2C driven, 6-channel capacitive touch sensor. For now, only the capacitive buttons are supported, and no specific settings that can be tweaked for individual channels, except for the device-wide sensitivity gain. The defaults seem to work just fine out of the box, so I'll leave configurable parameters for someone who's in need of them and who can actually measure the impact. All registers are prepared, however. Many of them are just not used for now. The implementation does not make any attempt to be compatible to platform data driven boards, but fully depends on CONFIG_OF. Power management functions are also left for volounteers with the ability to actually test them. * Input: tsc2005 - add DT supportSebastian Reichel2014-05-291-0/+42
| | | | | | | | | | This adds DT support to the tsc2005 touchscreen driver. It also adds regulator support to the driver if booted via DT. * Input: add common DT binding for touchscreensSebastian Reichel2014-05-291-0/+27
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add common DT binding documentation for touchscreen devices and implement input_parse_touchscreen_of_params, which parses the common properties and configures the input device accordingly. The method currently does not interpret the axis inversion properties, since there is no matching flag in the generic linux input device. * Input: sun4i-ts - add support for temperature sensorHans de Goede2014-05-141-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The sun4i resisitive touchscreen controller also comes with a built-in temperature sensor. This commit adds support for it. This commit also introduces a new "ts-attached" device-tree property, when this is not set, the input part of the driver won't register. This way the internal temperature sensor can be used to measure the SoC temperature independent of there actually being a touchscreen attached to the controller. * Input: add driver for Allwinner sunxi SoC's rtp controllerHans de Goede2014-05-141-0/+15
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Note the sun4i-ts controller is capable of detecting a second touch, but when a second touch is present then the accuracy becomes so bad the reported touch location is not useable. The original android driver contains some complicated heuristics using the aprox. distance between the 2 touches to see if the user is making a pinch open / close movement, and then reports emulated multi-touch events around the last touch coordinate (as the dual-touch coordinates are worthless). These kinds of heuristics are just asking for trouble (and don't belong in the kernel). So this driver offers straight forward, reliable single touch functionality only. | * | ARM: tegra: document reset properties in DT bindingsStephen Warren2013-12-111-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Update all the Tegra DT bindings to require resets/reset-names properties where the HW module has reset inputs. Remove any entries from clocks or clock-names that were only required to identify reset inputs, rather than referring to real clocks. This is a DT-ABI-incompatible change. It is the first of two changes required for me to consider the Tegra DT bindings as stable, the other being conversion to the common DMA DT bindings. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Many of the Tegra DT binding documents say nothing about the clocks or clock-names properties, yet those are present and required in DT files. This patch simply updates the documentation file to match the implicit definition of the binding, based on real-world DT content. All Tegra bindings that mention clocks are updated to have consistent wording and formatting of the clock-related properties. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There was a spelling mistake on TSC/ADC binding where "coordinate" was spelled as "coordiante". | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some matrix keypad drivers can support different numbers of rows and columns. Add a generic binding for these. Implementation note: In order to implement this binding in the kernel, we will need to modify matrix_keypad_() to look up the number of rows and cols in the keymap. Perhaps this could be done by passing 0 for these parameters? Many of the parameters can already be set to NULL. Ick. The interrupt mode of the chip is not set via devicetree, as it is not a property of the hardware but instead only a preferred type of operation. This should probably be made settable via configfs in the future. The option set as default is the mode the datasheet mentions as default.
