* [media] DocBook: Move all media docbook stuff into its own directoryMauro Carvalho Chehab2011-07-271-150/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch addresses several issues pointed by Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@xenotime.net> at changeset ece722c: - In the generated index.html file, "media" is listed first, but it should be listed in alphabetical order, not first. - The generated files are (hidden) in .tmpmedia/ - The link from the top-level index.html file to "media" is to media/index.html, but the file is actually in .tmpmedia/media/index.html - Please build docs with and without using "O=builddir" and test that. - Would it be possible for media to have its own Makefile instead of merging into this one? Due to the way cleandocs target works, I had to rename the media DocBook to media_api, otherwise cleandocs would remove the /media directory. * V4L/DVB: v4l doc: fix font of field nameHans Verkuil2010-05-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | The field 'reserved' was not tagged as a 'structfield' as it should. This made the text a bit confusing. Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil@xs4all.nl> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* V4L/DVB: media-spec: Fix documentation mistakes regarding I/O streamingHans Verkuil2010-02-261-23/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The media spec contains several errors in the description of the I/O streaming ioctls, in particular with respect to the userptr I/O method. The most important change is that you really need to set count and index in v4l2_requestbuffer and v4l2_buffer when dealing with user pointer streaming. * V4L/DVB (12761): DocBook: add media API specsMauro Carvalho Chehab2009-09-181-0/+160
The V4L and DVB API's are there for a long time. however, up to now, no efforts were done to merge them to kernel DocBook. This patch adds the current versions of the specs as an unique compendium. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
