| * piix4: disable io on resetMichael S. Tsirkin2013-09-151-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | io base register at 0x40 is cleared on reset, but io is not disabled until some other event happens to call pm_io_space_update. Invoke pm_io_space_update directly to make this consistent. Cc: qemu-stable@nongnu.org Signed-off-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst@redhat.com>
* | qemu: Adjust qemu wakeupLiu, Jinsong2013-09-251-1/+2
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently Xen hvm s3 has a bug coming from the difference between qemu-traditioanl and qemu-xen. For qemu-traditional, the way to resume from hvm s3 is via 'xl trigger' command. However, for qemu-xen, the way to resume from hvm s3 inherited from standard qemu, i.e. via QMP, and it doesn't work under Xen. The root cause is, for qemu-xen, 'xl trigger' command didn't reset devices, while QMP didn't unpause hvm domain though they did qemu system reset. We have two qemu patches and one xl patch to fix Xen hvm s3 bug. This patch is the qemu patch 1. It adjusts qemu wakeup so that Xen s3 resume logic (which will be implemented at qemu patch 2) will be notified after qemu system reset. * cpu: Replace qemu_for_each_cpu()Andreas Färber2013-09-031-11/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | It was introduced to loop over CPUs from target-independent code, but since commit 182735efaf956ccab50b6d74a4fed163e0f35660 target-independent CPUState is used. A loop can be considered more efficient than function calls in a loop, and CPU_FOREACH() hides implementation details just as well, so use that instead. * aio / timers: Switch entire codebase to the new timer APIAlex Bligh2013-08-221-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | This is an autogenerated patch using scripts/switch-timer-api. Switch the entire code base to using the new timer API. Note this patch may introduce some line length issues. Signed-off-by: Alex Bligh <alex@alex.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Stefan Hajnoczi <stefanha@redhat.com>
* aio / timers: Rearrange timer.h & make legacy functions call non-legacyAlex Bligh2013-08-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Rearrange timer.h so it is in order by function type. Make legacy functions call non-legacy functions rather than vice-versa. Convert cpus.c to use new API. Signed-off-by: Alex Bligh <alex@alex.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Stefan Hajnoczi <stefanha@redhat.com>
* acpi/piix4: QOM parent field cleanupAndreas Färber2013-07-231-12/+20
| | | | | | | | Replace direct uses of PIIX4PMState::dev with QOM casts and rename it to parent_obj. Acked-by: Peter Crosthwaite <peter.crosthwaite@xilinx.com> Signed-off-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de>
* acpi/piix4: QOM Upcast SweepPeter Crosthwaite2013-07-231-14/+17
| | | | | | | | Define and use standard QOM cast macro. Remove usages of DO_UPCAST() and direct -> style upcasting. Signed-off-by: Peter Crosthwaite <peter.crosthwaite@xilinx.com> Signed-off-by: Andreas Färber <afaerber@suse.de>

* memory: introduce memory_region_presentPaolo Bonzini2013-07-041-3/+3

* isa: implement isa_is_ioport_assigned via memory_region_findJan Kiszka2013-07-041-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | Open-code isa_is_ioport_assigned via a memory region lookup. As all IO ports are now directly or indirectly registered via the memory API, this becomes possible and will finally allow us to drop the ioport tables.
